Incredible - best day!
Exceptional day. Michael gave us an incredible day and we cannot recommend this enough. So relaxed, a great tour and lots of opportunity to swim, see caves and be on the beach. A perfect day and a must do in Dubrovnik!

Great guide, boat, and tunes
Michael was an amazing guide, great driver, and has a beautiful boat… with an amazing sound system. Fantastic time overall.

Highly recommended tour!
We opted for this tour on Viator considering our cruise ship was offering a similar itinerary at a much higher price. We’re so glad we did! It was a semi-private, small group experience on a newer boat, which was nice. The captain accommodated us after being delayed due to getting lost from the cruise ship pier and even took us to our final destination once the trip was done. I also appreciated that it was long enough to enjoy various swim areas, but not too long that we were out all day—this was important given that our ship was docked in Dubrovnik for a specific amount of time. The host was accommodating, the sites were beautiful, and the boat was great. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Dear Jessica, thank you for your kind words, it was our pleasure to be a part of your vacation! Have a great journey ahead!

Good for the price, maybe slightly expensive
In my opinion it was a good experience to see the beautiful islands/caves, the first two stops were beautiful but very crowded. The last stop was a sand beach, which was not that good and the restaurant was quite expensive roughly 5 euros for ice cream and the same for a small soda. The skipper was nice and informative. It said drinks were included but it was not that much to choose from. My advice would be to add more drinks, and another stop at an island or a better beach.
Response from the operator: Hey Amar, thank you for the review. We appreciate your suggestions. The tour that you booked is an organized tour. The three spots that you went to were carefully picked by listening to guests suggestions and experiences. Unfortunately we can’t do anything about the prices of food/drinks on the beach. About the lack of drinks, we offer bottled water, soda and alcoholic beverages (beer and wine). We prepare enough drinks for everyone. Wish you all the best. Kind regards, Nikola.

Great trip
Had such a great trip to the blue cave, the 3 caves and then to Sunj beach. The views were incredible on the boat and had great music the whole time as well as free drinks. Would definitely recommend this boat trip
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your great review! It was our pleasure to host you for the tour! We hope you made some memorable moments with us, have a great day!

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $661 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Blue Cave and Elaphiti Islands Half Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
