The perfect guide on the tour!

An incredibly talented and knowledgeable guide! So committed and interested in what he was talking about. Great guidance and perfect length of the tour, two hours. Everyone should do this! Thank you Jonathan!

Response from the operator: Many thanks and much appreciated for taking your time to write this. Happy to hear that the length, the spooky stories and guiding skills of Jonathan did hit home with you. More than welcome back to Sweden History Tours private tours.

    The tour name is misleading

It seems that not much happened in Old Town Stockholm. Based on the name of this tour, we were expecting many interesting, gruesome, intriguing stories. Instead we were told that a body was found between the walls of the palace and they say her ghost still haunts the palace. Campfire stories are better than this. Our guide was nice, but there isn't much to say.

Response from the operator: Hi, so sorry to hear that it was your impression and it is strange cause it is a lot that have happened that are bloody there: all from Stockholm bloodbath, to the killing of the king Gustav III, a lynch mob and the death of an noble to other bloody stories around the the executioner etc etc. Sorry to hear these stories didn't come to light as well as it should have been during your tour and sorry to hear the tour was a disappointment to you. Will talk to the guide who had you and make sure he is better prepared or something cause this isn't the feeling you should have after doing a tour with us.

Stockholm, a getaway to recommend! 👍🇸🇪

Very popular Nordic country: we visited the ABBA museum, AVICII, the very typical Skansen park, the Royal Palace, the old town,… we loved it. 😍 We also rented a car to explore the surroundings of Stockholm and the small villages, really great! The people are very smiling and welcoming! We are very satisfied with our trip! 🥰

Response from the operator: Happy to hear you had such a good experience while in Stockholm, and thanks for the review :-)

Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Stockholm.

How much does Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Stockholm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Stockholm is not rushed.

Is Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Stockholm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Stockholm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Stockholm and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private blood, ghosts and folklore Old Town 2h Stockholm tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Stockholm within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Stockholm?

    +

On Outty we rank every Stockholm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Stockholm: Walking Tour of the Old Town, Best of Stockholm: Small Group Walking Tour (Max 10, 3 Hours), Vasa Museum Guided Tour, Including Ticket & Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Stockholm?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Stockholm?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
