Must do tour in Hoi an
We had the most special morning with Min and would highly recommend to everyone. The whole morning was planned very well and included all aspects that we were looking for (biking, coconut boat, cooking class - most didn’t include the biking we found). But this had the addition of the vegetable garden tour and foot massage. Min was so funny and her chef skills were top notch. Our food was delightful from her instruction! The videos and pictures she took were so creative, it was great to spend the morning on this tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Rhianna! 💛🙏 What a wonderful review to receive on Viator — and we are so glad that our Private Biking, Farming & Cooking Class in Hội An turned out to be everything you were looking for and more! 🚲🌿👩🍳 We know how hard it can be to find a tour that truly combines it all — and that's exactly why we designed ours to include the bicycle ride through the countryside, the coconut basket boat experience, the Trà Quế organic vegetable garden tour, the Vietnamese cooking class AND a relaxing foot massage to finish. No compromises! 😊✨ Min is going to be so touched by your kind words — being called funny, a top-notch chef AND a creative videographer all in one review is quite the achievement! 🎥😄 We are so proud of her and the joy she brings to every single guest. Thank you for choosing Lemon Basil Cookery & Restaurant for such a special morning in Hội An — your recommendation means the world to our family. We hope to see you again one day! 🙏💛 — The Lemon Basil Family 🍋

Our best tour in Vietnam!
My husband and I had a private cooking class with Min and we absolutely loved it! She was a very funny and awesome guide. We loved the biking (about 18 km total) and the coconut boat ride. The cooking class was great and the food was delicious. They were also kind enough to make some substitutions to the menu for us, so we cooked chicken & pork instead of fish, since my husband doesn’t like fish. As an added bonus, Min also took some amazing pictures and video!! Highly recommend this experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much! 🌿 We’re truly happy to hear that this was your best tour in Vietnam. It was a pleasure hosting you and your husband for a private experience. Cycling through the countryside, enjoying the coconut boat ride, and cooking together are some of our favorite moments to share with guests. Min will be very happy to know you enjoyed her humor, the food, and the photos she captured! We’re also glad we could adjust the menu so you both felt comfortable and enjoyed every dish. Thank you for recommending our Hoi An biking, farming, and cooking class. We hope to welcome you back to Lemon Basil one day! 🍋💚

Lovely tour and cooking class
We had such a nice time. We felt like we saw a lot of the outside of Hoi An and learned so much from the cooking class that we can use at home. Minh was fantastic. 🥰

Hope you get to recreate the dishes at home and relive the memories. 🥰🍜 #CookingClassHoiAn #BikeAndCook #AuthenticVietnam #UnforgettableExperience

Fun Family Afternoon
This was one of the highlights for our 14yr old son! We cycled out to a herb farm, cooked rice crackers over a charcoal fire, then rode back alongside buffalos in the rice fields to the coconut boats. It was mid afternoon so the coconut boat experience was lovely and peaceful amongst the palm trees. Lastly we spent the remainder of the afternoon and early evening learning how to cook our favourite Vietnamese dishes and enjoyed eating them with another family with kids. Fun, action-packed adventure.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your fantastic experience! 🚲🌿🔥 We’re so happy to hear that your 14-year-old son loved the tour and that you had such a fun, action-packed adventure! From cycling through the herb farm to the peaceful coconut boat ride and ending the day with a delicious cooking class, it sounds like a perfect family experience. 🥥🍜👨👩👧👦 We’d love to welcome you back for more unforgettable moments in Hội An! 🌟✨

A Bike Ride & Cooking Class
Wow what a great tour! The bike ride from the hotel to local market was fun and educational. The bike ride to the Cooking Class was thru the rice field and vegetable garden. The Cooking class was was fun, our guide the whole tour did a great job educating us and a wonderful job teaching us how to make 4 items while taking pictures of us replicating what she had showed us how and what to do. The food was great and they even allowed us to ride the bikes over to the tailor afterwards where they picked up the bikes. I would highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! 🚲🌾🍳 We’re so glad you enjoyed the bike ride through the rice fields and vegetable gardens, the local market visit, and of course, the hands-on cooking class! 🍜🥗📸 It’s great to hear that you had fun learning and creating delicious dishes while capturing those special moments. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another amazing experience in Hội An! 🌟💚

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.
How much does Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An cost?
+
Prices start at $550000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hoi An is not rushed.
Is Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Biking, Farming, & Cooking Class in Hoi An start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hoi An?
+
On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HOI AN Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands PRIVATE TOUR, Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Cooking Class Hoi An:Local Market, Basket Boat, Fishing & Cooking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hoi An?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
