Private Ephesus Tour
We found Yesim by searching for recommended guides who offered a private tour of Ephesus, after my initial contact with Yesim, I was confident that she would offer a fabulous service. All our correspondence was polite and friendly, the price for the day was very competitive and the positive reviews kept appearing on trip advisor and Google - so we booked it. We received concise and accurate details about the meeting place ( we sailed from Samos to Kusadasi, self arranged ) and met Yesim at the port outside Starbucks. We were taken to the transport, a very nice Mercedes Vito driven by Yesim's husband and the itinerary was explained to us. I won't spoil the experience by going into minute detail, but we had a fabulous day with just enough information about each attraction visited. Some guides seemed to be boring their guests with too much information, but ours was brilliant at offering the perfect amount of detail, after all it's not a history lesson, we are a couple on holiday visiting an outstanding piece of Greco Roman architecture. We were blown away by the grandeur of the place! It was a very hot day, and data overload would have made the experience overwhelming. Yesim allowed us to tailor the day to suit us, the optional stops en-route to leather, carpet, pottery shops were not pushed on us at all, as I said they are optional. As a couple, they offer a great service that my wife and I fully endorse. The terraced houses in Ephesus are a must, at an extra cost, but you can't visit and not see them. I'm so glad I've been to Ephesus with Yesim as our guide. The inclusive museum is another stop not to be missed, we felt transported back to when Ephesus was thriving! At the end of the day, we were dropped back at the port for our return ferry, pleasantries exchanged and some more magical memories in the bank! Don't pay over the odds when Megale Travel do it right for a fair price!

Great day with Yesim!
Cathy and I spent the day with our guide Yesim, who is a local, born and raised in the Selcuk area. We met thru the recommendation of our wonderful guide in Istanbul Gamze who initiated the opportunity for us. We had a rental car so I drove and Yesim navigated leading to the tourist must see spots in and around Selcuk and the ancient city of Ephasus. Yesim was personable and extremely knowledgeable about the area. She used her local experiences and her family to answer questions we had about modern day cultural events. She even shared pictures of her family with these cultural events. Once again like Istanbul and Cappadocia the people of this area are terrific and we never felt anything but welcome. We contemplated cancelling our trip from the United States and while we were embarrassed to be American at this time we are so glad we followed thru with the trip. The Turkish people were extremely welcoming.

Yesim and Farhad are wonderful tour guides! Yesim was knowledgeable and patient. She listened to exactly what we wanted and planned our short trip so well. Farhad patiently drove for hours. We had no hitches. With our flight rescheduled, Yesim accordingly worked with the changes. Very honest with her words and so beautifully explained the culture and values of Turkiye! Thank you Yesim and Farhad for the wonderful time. Very blessed by your company!
