Educative and fun
This tour was not only fun, but the tour guide made it educative as well. Not only did we learn a lot about brewing beer, but the beers we tasted and drank were excellent.
Response from the operator: We're thrilled you enjoyed our tour! Combining fun with education is our goal. Cheers to more great beers and memorable experiences!

This tour was indeed fun and educative as well
During my recent visit to Saint Louis, I took this half day tour along with a local friend of mine and we had a good time experiencing the beer culture of Saint Louis. The tour guide also took us to some historically important places in Saint Louis. This tour was indeed fun and educative as well.
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our Saint Louis beer culture tour and appreciating the historical insights. We're thrilled you had a fun and educational experience!

Not worth the money
NOT worth the cost!! It is disappointing when the way the tour reads and the reality do not match. We do tours in every city or country we travel to - this was the worst experience we have encountered. I want to be clear that the tour guide was charming, but if he plans the half day adventures, he needs to up his game. I am writing to save you money on the over priced, mediocre experience. For the price -we expected a combination of learning about St Louis, landmarks and personal service at each brewery. For that price I expected ALOT more. What we received was a ride to 4 locations and conversation with our guide- he was not there to do much more than drive us to our destination and “pay” (which lets be clear is what you already paid). If you are looking to just have a glorified Uber take you to a few breweries and want to pay this much for it - then go for it. I tried to work with this tour company OPATRIP to lower their price? Or get partial refund for this mediocre experience- but they said no.
Response from the operator: I appreciate your honest feedback and the effort you made to save others from a similar experience. It's unfortunate that your expectations weren't met on this tour. Your insights will surely help the tour company improve their offerings in the future.

Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St Louis.
How much does Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis cost?
+
Prices start at $889 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St Louis usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St Louis is not rushed.
Is Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 36 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in St Louis, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St Louis can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St Louis and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Beer Tasting Half-Day Tour in Saint Louis start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St Louis within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in St Louis?
+
St Louis leads with Gateway Arch tram rides and riverboat cruises, then brewery tours, Forest Park museums, City Museum visits and Route 66 history runs. Arch tram tickets are timed entry, so we weight tours that secure them. On Outty we rank every St Louis experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lemp Haunted Neighborhood Walking Tour, St. Louis True Crime Tour: Soulard’s Murders, Mafia & Mayhem, Private Tour of St. Louis's Iconic BBQ Joints & Breweries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit St Louis?
+
April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in St Louis?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
