Hampton Beach Services were incompetent, unreachable & disrespectful. Do NOT waste your money on Hampton Beach Services

The people never showed. Their number was disconnected. Viator/TripAdvisor service calls were as inane as they were pedantic and disrespectful. This is a horrible service. I tried calling and texting Hampton Beach Services multiple times to no avail. Hampton Beach Services should NOT be trusted with your money.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🔥🔥🔥🔥

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely amazing experience with Hampton Beach Service! Their bonfires are a must-do if you're visiting the area. The setup was perfect—cozy seating, a warm fire, and the sound of the waves in the background. It was the ideal way to spend an evening at the beach. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was taken care of, so all we had to do was relax and enjoy the night. I had so much fun and will definitely be booking again next time I'm in town! Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We're thrilled to hear you had a great experience. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we look forward to serving you again in the future

    Perfect!

This was such a fun event! The team setup a bonfire for 60 of us to enjoy the evening after a surprise engagement. They handled everything and took care of all the guests. I cannot recommend them enough.

    Best part of our trip!

Hampton beach service was the best part of our weekend trip! They were so flexible to change our original event date due to rain to another night. They were so communicative and easy to work with and our attendant took such good care of our group!

    Effortless Beach Day Set Up

My family and I just returned from four days in Montauk. We were staying at the Montauk Manor which isn't right on the beach so we booked Hampton Beach Service to provide beach set ups so we wouldn't have to schlep chairs and umbrellas for 6 or us. (we wouldn't have had room in the car even if we wanted to bring it from home.) Mark was a pleasure to deal with and the website was easy to navigate. We only need chairs and umbrellas but there are other options ie coolers, towels, beach fires and beach dinners. Each day we were assigned a beach attendant (Rakim and Delroy were great) that set up our very comfortable chairs and umbrellas on Kirk Beach in Montauk. The guys stopped by throughout the day to check if we needed anything else. We will definitely use HBS in the future when visiting Montauk or the Hamptons.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your feedback. It was a pleasure creating a hands free and relaxing experience for you ! I will be sure to let the team know you had such an amazing experience. You are always welcome . Please come back again. We look forward to seeing you

Private Beach Fire Montauk: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Long Island.

How much does Private Beach Fire Montauk cost?

    +

Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Long Island usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Beach Fire Montauk take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Long Island is not rushed.

Is Private Beach Fire Montauk worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Long Island, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Beach Fire Montauk?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Beach Fire Montauk suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Beach Fire Montauk?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Long Island can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Long Island and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Beach Fire Montauk start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Long Island within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Long Island?

    +

Long Island covers North Fork winery tours, Hamptons beach days, Gold Coast mansion visits and fishing or sailing charters, most reachable as a day trip from Manhattan. On Outty we rank every Long Island experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Transfer in Black SUV to or from JFK, LGA, EWR, Skip the Lines Reliable Comfortable and stress free Rides, Black SUV Transfer From or To JFK, LGA, EWR - All Fees Included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Long Island?

    +

May to October, with harvest tastings peaking in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Long Island?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
