2nd time here was even better than the 1st!

So this is our 2nd year in a row we booked this excursion and we can’t wait to book it again. The way the staff takes care of your every need is simply amazing. My wife and I had the beach to ourselves the entire time! We can’t believe others cancel their booking because of seaweed….its everywhere in Costa Maya. You can’t get away from it. We were offered the chance to cancel for a full refund and we begged them to let us come! The food was the best we’ve had on any excursion we’ve been on (guacamole, ceviche, lobster, snapper). All the seafood was freshly caught that morning! The drinks were delicious too, especially the Key Lime Pie and the Caipirinha. I went out snorkeling (yes I had to get through sargassum first) and had one of the best “snorkeling-from-beach” experiences I’ve ever had. The reef had very colorful coral and many species of fish. I also found conch shells (unfortunately they were occupied so I had to leave them). My wife and I were sad when the time came to head back to the ship. We felt so relaxed and refreshed from our wonderful private beach experience. Thanks Louis and staff for making our time so memorable!

    Amazing experience- highly recommend

We had an amazing experience. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The hospitality and care for us was personal and thoughtful. This location is such a gem. Our kids enjoyed hanging on the beach and exploring the waters. We have visited many locations in MX over the years, but this excursion tops them all. We would highly recommend. Thanks Terexa and team!

2nd experience worse than the first

This was the 2nd time we've been to this beach. The first experience was good other than I got sand ticks that lasted several weeks. I thought it was from the tremendous storm they had recently experienced, so I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, the 2nd experience was worse than the first. I, once again, got sand ticks. In addition, the sargassum was 2 feet high. It would have been nice if they had pitch-forked a path to the water but they did not. You had to make your way over or through the bug-ridden sargassum. They asked us when we got there what kind of beer we liked and then sent someone to get it. It arrived about an hour later. It would have been nice if they had asked us that before our excursion there and had been better prepared. However, once you got beyond the sargassum and into the water, it was wonderful. The food was wonderful too. We had fresh mango and delicious guacamole and shrimp ceviche. All-in-all I have to say that it could be a great experience if they worked it a little harder like having beer or beverage of choice available, a cleaner beach and serving drinks to us at the water's edge instead of us having to dredge through the sargassum and up to the "bar". Sorry to say, we won't be returning.

The best excursion of our cruise!

After a 30-minute car ride, we arrived at the resort and were immediately greeted and welcomed. We were given a brief tour of the premises, then free to explore and enjoy. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and courteous. Our drinks were always full, and the food (guacamole, shrimp ceviche, steak tacos) was amazing! Once we got past the seaweed at the shore, the water was pristine! Beautiful sandy beach and lounge chairs available. We will definitely return to this resort if we make it back to Costa Maya!!!!

    Once out of cruise port,...

Once out of cruise port, it was very easy to find the meeting location. We were the only ones at the beach that day. Teresa was amazing - and made us the best meal on our trip! Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the water as much as we would have liked because there was a lot of sargasso on shore and in water (the only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5).

Private beach, all inclusive.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Costa Maya.

How much does Private beach, all inclusive. cost?

    +

Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Costa Maya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private beach, all inclusive. take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Costa Maya is not rushed.

Is Private beach, all inclusive. worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 219 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Costa Maya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private beach, all inclusive.?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private beach, all inclusive. suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private beach, all inclusive.?

    +

Around 77 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Costa Maya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Costa Maya and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private beach, all inclusive. start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Costa Maya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Costa Maya?

    +

On Outty we rank every Costa Maya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chacchoben & Bacalar Combo Excursion Costa Maya, Costa Maya Shore Excursion Chacchoben Day Trip, Bacalar – 7 Colors Lagoon Excursión Costa Maya. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Costa Maya?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Costa Maya?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
