Whole day tour of the Parthenon and Athens
We spent a whole day with Anthi our charming and enthusiastic guide. She met us at our hotel and we walked to the Acropolis while she filled us with information about the history of the area. She was very thorough and keen to point out things which would interest us as individuals. It made a brilliant start to a few days in Athens. The history of the city is so complicated it takes an expert to unravel it for you and Anthi was definitely impressively qualified. Do wear walking shoes!

Amazing private tour for our family
For our last day in Greece, we decided to take a private, 4-hour walking/eating/drinking/history tour of Athens. It was phenomenal! Yannis Ninos was the most personable, warm, considerate, knowledgeable, professional, kind... guide we could have ever asked for. Yannis fit into our family of two adults and our two adult children (27 & 29) immediately. If you're going to Athens, you must take one of his tours. You will not be disappointed!

A Beautiful Day in Athens
We had the pleasure of being guided thru Athens by Sisi, an Archeological student, who shared her knowledge and love of Ancient Greek history with us. We began at the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and then strolled to Plaka where she settled us in for a relaxing, delicious lunch. After lunch we rejoined Sisi and a driver to tour the rest of the highlights of Athens, including Mt.Lycebbetus. As first time visitors, tired from long air travel, the pace was perfect. Athens Insiders worked with us to design the tour we wanted and also made our hotel arrangements based on budget and location requests. I would highly recommend this tour company for any one traveling to Greece.

An Enlightening Way to Spend Your First Day in Athens!
I am so glad that we did it. My husband and I arrived Athens for our honeymoon with limited knowledge about Greece and exhausted bodies from our looong flights. Our private Athens Highlights Tour was scheduled to few hours after we arrived our hotel. I was not excited about it until we actually started it! Our lovely tour guide Niki waited us in our hotel lobby. She took us to on a 5-hour walking trip which I didn't think I could make it at the beginning. However with the stunning attractions we visited and the fascinating stories we were told during the tour, we slowly lost track of the time and totally amazed by the well preserved history in front of us. Having someone grow up here showing us around was such a good way to spend our first day here. I was highly recommend first-time-visitors to do so!

Treasure Hunt Activity (Company Event)
The treasure hunt activity organized by Athens Insiders, was by far the highlight of the business trip our organization chose!! Despite the large number of participants, the organizers and our guide Kostas were extremely well prepared and ensured a fantastic 4 hour session, during which we discovered the city, tried local delicacies, learned about the history of Athens, competed with each other and of course had loads of fun! Moreover, I would strongly and highly recommend this tour for companies aiming at team building and strengthen further the cooperation and ties among its' member, while exploring the city in the most playful way. Last but not least, even though I am from Athens and I grew up here, there were many secrets and hidden gems that I discovered thanks to Athens Insiders. THANK YOU for this wonderful experience! For sure I will come back to try a different tour!
