Your hands-on cooking class with your local host Constanza will last for about two hours. First, you will join her to slow cook a variety of meat and vegetables on the barbecue using a special type of wood called Quebracho, and learn about the different sauces, cuts of meat and methods of cooking them. After that, you will join Constanza in her large kitchen to learn to make traditional Argentinean empanadas or picadas. She will also teach you to prepare a typical sweet dessert like traditional crepes filled with caramel or mini rogel cake, which will be served with a selection of coffee or tea. Constanza can cook all kinds of cuisines, ranging from Japanese to Moroccan to Asian and even runs her own catering business. In spite of her repertoire of culinary skills, she enjoys cooking a traditional Argentinean home-cooked meal the most and is excited to introduce you to her delicious local cuisine!

A MUST DO class for cooking enthusiasts
My partner and I chose this specific cooking class because it covered both traditional Asado and empanada cooking. Connie and Manolo were very warm, welcoming and flexible with their time. They showed us a range of different meats, techniques and sauces and they tailored the class to our needs. This was truly a special experience and an absolute MUST DO for cooking enthusiasts. I highly recommend this class.

Wonderful cooking and cultural experience
My family had a wonderful cooking experience! Connie and her husband treated us like guests in their home. We cooked and enjoyed a traditional asado with a number of different meats and dishes. I’ve recommended Connie’s cooking experience to friends and plan to book again next time we visit Buenos Aires.

A highlight of our trip.
We recently enjoyed a scrumptious meal and a wonderful evening with Juan and Marina. They reached out before the evening to ensure we were able to find their home. From the moment we arrived at their home they made us feel like special guests and new best friends at the same time. They greeted us with homemade pizza and endless delicious wine. Juan, who is a chef by training, showed us how to prepare empanadas and other appetizers from scratch. We had so much fun getting our hands dirty and kneading the dough. We were taught how to season beef properly and slow cook it on the outside wood and coal barbeque. We sat down to a delicious meal and felt very comfortable in their home. The food was delicious, probably the best beef and pork we have ever eaten and cooked to perfection. It was a highlight of our trip to Argentina and we did not want the evening to end. They made some excellent suggestions for other restaurants and things to do while in town. We very highly recommend this unique experience and we will definitely visit again when we return to Buenos Aires.

Great experience!!
Five friends and family had a great time with Constanza and her husband Manolo. The class was in their home which made it more special. We really enjoyed watching Manolo cook the bbq and we learned a lot about the different cuts of meat and experienced some new tastes. The only drawback was the long distance to their home. Constanza helped guide our taxis. I highly recommend this class.

A true family delicious afternoon!
We traveled to B.A. in December before a trip to Antarctica and arrived on the day Argentina won the world cup. It was such an electric and amazing experience to be there and celebrate victory with the locals. But by far, the best experience we had in B.A. was our time with Connie and her husband, Monolo. They welcomed us into their home and treated us as family. They picked us up at our hotel and returned us with very safe and reliable transportation. Their home is situated in a very safe gated community with amazing architecture of the homes. Their backyard lani setting truly felt like a resort. Inside their kitchen, we donned our aprons and went to work. Corn empanadas were on the menu, and they were absolutly delishus. Connie was patient and educational, and immersed us into the history of Aregentina and their local customs. But then the real show began. Monolo showed us their parrilla and we started to experience a true asado via a cooking technique called a “la parrilla”. Wood fired smokey delish meats included chorizos, steaks, chittlings (which was absolutly amazing) and black pudding. My takeaway was the wonderful local wines they paired the meal with and they also cooked and served and the provoleta cheese, along with baguettes that were perfectly cooked with our meal. Very fair pricing for our experience in a loving home – I highly recommend and will be back again one day--- Thank you, Connie and Monolo !

Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers cost?
+
Prices start at $219 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Private Asado Cooking Class in a Beautiful Home with Transfers?
+
