Driver did not show up. No one answered the phone number provided so I was stranded at 1am at the airport. I eventually paid for a taxi instead and request a refund from the company.

Response from the operator: Good afternoon we are sorry for any inconvenience, we have our own team working round the clock at airport so it is a bit difficult to miss any transfer however please show us the voucher and we will surely give you 100% refund, Once again pls make sure this is our company voucher,

    Expensive

Was really hard to find the pickup spot and then once we did we had to wait 20 minutes for the car to come and it seemed like it wasn’t very well managed and they didn’t respond to any of our messages. However once we got the car it was very clean and nice and all the staff were really nice but it’s very expensive for the lack of service.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your honest feedback — we truly value your input. 🙏 We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced in locating the pickup point and the delay that followed. Your experience does not reflect the standard of service we aim to provide, and we’re actively reviewing our coordination process to ensure clearer communication and faster response times. That said, we’re glad to hear you found the car clean and our staff welcoming. Your kind words mean a lot, and we’ll make sure to pass them along. We understand your concerns regarding value for service, and we’ll be taking your comments seriously as we work to improve both efficiency and overall guest satisfaction. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again with a smoother, more seamless experience. Warm regards, Team Sun Leisure World

at least Start off ur bangkok trip by getting this one thing right, from the start

Guys, u just landed, and all tired and hot, wife is hangry and kids complaining, why take ANY chances wading thru the arrival level chaos of hailing transport on ur own? Kick off ur thailand trip right and book this secure, private transport service. Its super easy on the day of. At the arrival terminal, after u exit the “nothing to declare” gate head toward the pickup gate # (we know it as door # back in the states) as directed by the service operator email. Look for ur name and confirm on a 11x14 paper sign posted, point to it, and an agent make u hold the paper and take a pic of u w it, and directs u to ur car and driver shortly. In a swift and seamless fashion u and ur party, w all ur luggs, are on ur way to ur hotel. Its our first time to bangkok and our flight was late 1 hour from the original booking. Not a word was mentioned about this, we were still taken care of. I will use this service again!!

Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus) cost?

    +

Prices start at $177 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus) take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus)?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
