Mauricio’s expertise really brought the tour to life, providing fascinating insights into the region and its history. He went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and tailored the experience to our group. The lunch he arranged was absolutely delicious, adding a wonderful touch to the day. The breathtaking views of the Andes, coupled with the exceptional wine tasting at Concha Y Toro, made this tour unforgettable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. Beautiful views.

This tour offers incredible views, however there is lots of driving involved on narrow and winding roads. Our driver Christian was an expert and made us feel very safe. We were open to learning more about Chile’s history and Christian had lots of information to share. He took us to a cute town for lunch where we had some delicious food from a food truck. The wine tasting and tour at concho y toro was a nice way to end the day.

A great day in the Andes

Just completed this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The views around the lake in the Andes was spectacular. We decided to not do the wine tour. By making this decision enabled us to spend more time in the mountains. For us it was a great decision. Our driver was Juan. He was a great guy to spend the day with. He was enthusiastic about everything and made sure we had a good time. I recommend this tour. Hopefully if you book it you will get Juan as your guide.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic feedback! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the stunning views in the Andes and made the most of your time in the mountains. It's great to know that Juan's enthusiasm added to your experience—he truly loves what he does! We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon Richard!

Explore treasures of Maipo Valley

Beautiful drive from Santiago, Chile through the various lovely communities of the Maipo Valley. Juan was an excellent tour guide and Patricio was very helpful with tour details. Beautiful landscapes with mining sites near by. Interesting tour and great wine-tasting at Concha y Toro Winery and great ice cream at the artsy chocolate house. A nice way to explore highlights in the Andes Mountains.

Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.

How much does Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $270 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.

Is Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Andes Day Trip Maipo Valley with Concha Y Toro Wine Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santiago?

+

On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santiago?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santiago?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
