Ban Mae Klang Luang is a Karen village inhabited by S’gaw people, an ethnic group. This village is a peaceful one with relaxing natural environments around. This village was once a land for opium planting, but later, due to the kindness of King Bhumibol, the villagers switched to creative agriculture instead. Therefore Ban Mae Klang Luang is a stunning place with flawless nature now, being loved by many tourists. Ban Mae Klang Luang is a good place to visit if you want to learn about Thai agriculture. Best tour of our life!!!

I don’t write review very often but I want to share our experience with this company and I’m glad we had Nong as our tour guide/driver. He is great and speak good English as well. This company has a really good customer service. They communicate with us along the way. From the start to end. And I just want to say thank you everyone and most of all to Nong who did everything to make sure we are taking care of.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! 😊 We’re truly happy to hear that you had such a great time and that Nong helped make your tour memorable. He will be very pleased to know that you appreciated his guidance and communication throughout the day. At our company, we always aim to provide excellent service from start to finish, so it means a lot to hear that you felt well taken care of along the way. Your kind words about our team and customer service really encourage us to keep doing our best. Thank you again for choosing to explore with us in Phuket, and we’ll be sure to pass your lovely message on to Nong. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure in the future! 🌴✨

What A Very Memorable Trip!

Excellent tour operator, from pre-trip communication to post-trip follow up. Our driver/guide M was terrific, provided us with clear communication and well planned itinerary. The easy-medium trekking was icing on the cake, with viewing of many waterfalls as well as illustration boards along the way. Make sure to wear suitable shoes. In addition, the peak is 15C cooler than the city, please dress appropriately.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the experience from start to finish and that M took great care of you with clear communication and a well-planned itinerary. It’s wonderful to hear you loved the waterfalls and the trekking route, and we really appreciate you sharing helpful tips for future travelers about shoes and cooler temperatures at the peak. We hope to see you on another adventure with us soon! 🌿

Downhill hike was great!

The waterfalls were nice and the (downhill) hike was well planned to minimize effort for the less fit parties in the group. The only let down was the misguidance on the tour advisory to bring towels and bathing suit when we can't swim or play with water at the waterfalls.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your honest feedback with us. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the waterfalls and especially the downhill hike. It’s great to know the route planning worked well and helped make the experience more comfortable for everyone in the group. We sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the tour advisory about bringing towels and swimwear. You’re absolutely right, and we understand how that could be disappointing. Your feedback is truly appreciated and will help us improve the clarity of our pre-tour information so future guests have more accurate expectations. Thank you again for choosing ForeverVacation. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even better experience next time. Warm regards, ForeverVacation Team

Nature and short hike.

Nice scenery although I think would be even better when everything is growing and green. At the highest point above sea level can be a bit of a let down. Theres no actual view. Also a pretty easy hike, majority of it is downhill. Both tour guides were extremely knowledgable, friendly and caring, considering I got pretty bad motion sickness during the drive up.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! It’s true that nature can vary throughout the year, and we’re glad you still had a positive experience despite the greenery not being in full bloom at the time of your visit. We also appreciate your comments about the hike. While it can be an easier trek for many, we do recognize that the highest point might not always provide the view you’re hoping for, and we’re grateful for your understanding. It’s good to know that our tour guides made such a positive impact on your experience! We take pride in having knowledgeable and caring guides who are always ready to help, especially in moments when our guests may not be feeling their best. We're glad they were able to support you during the drive and ensure your comfort. We hope to welcome you back again soon, and we'll continue to work on providing an even better experience for all our guests. Warm regards, Nam Forever Vacation Team

Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.

How much does Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $107 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.

Is Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private All-Inclusive Doi Inthanon & Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?

+

On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
