Stay away from me.

Nice Tours turned a dream vacation into a nightmare. Non-existent organization from the beginning: late communications, wrong information and zero professionalism, despite full payment in advance. At the Pyramids of Giza the guide tried to charge us 500 EGP for an unnecessary ticket, making excuses. Only by insisting we avoided a real scam, protecting the rest of the group as well. Since then we have been isolated, sent to lunch alone and vilified with the other participants. Nice Tours’ “apology” was ridiculous: promised an upgrade to a luxury cruise that was not luxury at all. Total chaos on the third day: wake up at 4:00 for the hot air balloon, pick-up truck more than an hour late and names not even registered. Result: tour started very late, Valley of the Kings incomplete and Hatshepsut Temple skipped. Hours wasted waiting on the ship. Continuous delays, rush visits, unaccountable assistance. Total disorganization Lack of respect Unacceptable experience Stay away from Nice Tours.

I enjoyed it with an accurate guide.

Although it was a short time in Luxor, I enjoyed Karnak and Luxor temples with Jackie's apt guide.

Poor communication. Poor customer service.

Honestly the worst tour company I have ever had to deal with and I am a frequent traveller in multiple countries around the world, including around Africa. We booked an 8 day experience in Egypt with Nice Tours with so much expectation, having read the positive reviews. Egypt has so many beautiful sights and incredible experiences, but somehow this company managed to combine such poor communication and such poor customer service to give us so much stress. We had very late and very little communication throughout from booking through to completion of the tour, which was both troubling and disappointing. Even when we were facing problems, we received late communication and the company refused to answer or make phone calls. They only do whatsapp and there is not always good wifi or service in the sites where people go during the tour. As an example, we received the communication about timing of morning meeting times for excursions after midnight on several occasions. There is no accountability and the management of the company are negligent. All members of the company are taught to say "I am just the driver" or "I am just the guide". Nobody at any level takes responsibility for any part of the operation. Just a simple apology goes a long way but they have not learned that. They are extremely pushy about feedback. We had at least two guides in two different cities who tried to take our phone and get us to fill in feedback while the tour was going on. This is unacceptable. Therefore take the positive feedback on websites with a mountain of salt. Rather than go on and on about individual poor experiences, I will summarise two experiences. First, due to their lateness and incompetence, we missed a sound and light show at Philae Temple in Aswan along with a group of nearly 30 other tourists. After whatsapp exchanges, they offered us a sound and light show at Karnak temple at the last minute. They interrupted our evening and suddenly drove us all the way to Karnak temple and said that we have to pay for tickets. We saw that other members of our group had been offered the same experience as a gesture of good will but that we were not offered the same, presumably due to our religion. Therefore we were discriminated against and yet this is Nice Tours' idea of good will to customers. The second experience is that they had cancelled our early morning return flight to Hurghada to Cairo on the final day. We found out at the airport that the company had done this when we tried to check in. The company (Nice Tours) declined our calls and said by whatsapp that it was the fault of the airline, even though we spoke to the airline representative directly and saw the evidence on the computer screen, which showed that they were not telling the truth. We had to book an emergency flight at our own cost with huge stress on the final day of our vacation so that we could catch a return flight to the UK. We did not get an apology from the company and we are still fighting for a refund from them for our flight cost. Thankfully, we had some great memories in Egypt. Unfortunately, barely any of them were due to Nice Tours. In fact, whenever they were involved, it became a stress. I am sorry to have to say this-please avoid booking a trip with them if you can. There are lots of alternative companies who seem to do a much better job.

Our days in Luxor

During our Nile Cruise we spent 2 days with our guide Ahmed Anwer who showed us Karnak, Valley of Kings, Hatschepsut. Ahmed was very friendly and made sure to give us as much information as possible but still giving us the possibility to have some time for ourselves to explore the sites which made the visits very interesting and relaxed. He was never pushing us and told us to take the time we need. As well he made sure that we were not bothered by others who tried to sell their products. Consider yourself happy if you get him as one of your guides. The days were very well organised by Nice Tours and we were never left alone. Whenever we had a question via Whats App we got an answer in a short time. As well the information for the next day planning we got every evening automatically without having to ask for it. We never had to wait for a driver or guide and were kept informed about them arriving.

Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane cost?

+

Prices start at $1572 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private All-Inclusive 6 Night 7 Days Nile Cruise from Cairo by Plane start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
