    WARNING- Not as advertised

We came to Greece to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We were excited to book this private yacht cruise around Santorini. We were also excited to see another island as stated in the information section, Thirasia but we didn’t. To start off the trip we were late getting picked up. Another thing we were excited about was seeing the Old City and Fira as stated in our booking. We didn’t do either. We were given cold water and “wine” in carafes the side door of the mini fridge to drink (not lots of Greek alcohol, beer?). We had stale crackers and dips to eat…. found in the galley. Since Santorini has the best sunsets in the world we wanted to be on the Aegean Sea and have amazing pictures but we didn’t see anything close to a sunset. We missed the sunset during our long drive back to our drop off location in Oia. FYI- other sunset cruises were still out as we headed back to the marina. When you have saved hard earned money and plan a trip half way around the world it is very upsetting that what is stated by the vendor is not given. To sum up our experience we paused at the red and white beaches. We took a dip by the caldera, had a “snack”, then went back to the marina (going extremely faster than any other vessel like we were an inconvenience) where transportation took us back to our drop off location in Oia. We missed the sunset that day. We wished we would have stayed in Oia and enjoyed our evening there. When asked for a partial refund, we were denied. It was a waste of $1,200 to us.

Response from the operator: Dear Luaren We are very sorry to read this review, as it does not reflect the reality of the cruise you enjoyed with us. You booked a 3-hour private cruise (16:00–19:00), which included stops at the Red and White Beaches, the volcano area, and sailing in front of Fira, Firostefani, and Imerovigli. This package is priced at $1,000, not $1,200, and it includes snacks and drinks only, not a full meal or the sunset. Our longer 5-hour or full-day tours include Thirasia, Oia, and the sunset. I personally captained your cruise and throughout the trip I asked you several times if everything was to your satisfaction or if you required anything else. Each time, your response was that everything was perfect. Only four days later, after you had already left Santorini, we received a message requesting a full refund, claiming that the cruise had never taken place. We provided Viator with official documentation from the Port Police Authority, including the mandatory passenger list with your names, as well as photographs from the marina showing you boarding the yacht. Based on this evidence, it was confirmed that the cruise was completed as agreed, and therefore a refund was not possible. We always welcome honest feedback and use it to improve, but we cannot and will not accept threats of a negative review in exchange for a refund. Our company has built its reputation on respect, honesty, and genuine care for our guests, as can be seen from the many positive reviews shared by visitors who experienced our cruises. We are proud to deliver authentic, high-quality experiences in Santorini and remain fully committed to treating every guest with the same professionalism and respect. Warm regards, George Santorini Golden Yacht

This was a wonderful sunset cruise on a beautiful boat. From pick up at hotel to drop off, everything was perfect. The host and captain were amazing, food delicious and we saw the beautiful island of Santorini by water stopping to swim and relax at some amazing locations. Amazing sunset cruise!

This was our favorite experience in all of Santorini! Vera and Christos were amazing! The boat was fabulous and the views were incredible! We swam in the hot springs and even jumped off a cliff. They stopped at amazing sights and made the best Greek food right on board. This is a must-do!

Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini cost?

    +

Prices start at $256 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private all included yacht Tour in Santorini start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
