Private Giza Pyramids light and sound show

Our tour guide Mahmoud was fantastic. He was welcoming, very knowledgeable and professional. He picked us on time from our hotel. On the way he pointed out places of interest to us. He gave us short introduction what to expect before the show started. Mahmoud guided us how to listen to accompanied pre-recorded translation in English on our headphones. He patiently answered all our questions however trivial. He is a pleasant, polite and likeable person. He went out of his call of duty to take us to a local takeaway to buy our meal before dropping us back safely in the hotel. I have no hesitation to highly recommend Mahmoud for not only his professionalism but also for his outstanding knowledge of history of the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx.

Great private tour of the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx with Ines

This was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo for the first time. They picked us up right on time and took us straight to the pyramids. Ines was our guide and she was very knowledgeable about the history of the Giza pyramids and she was very helpful when we asked her many questions. We didn't feel rushed and she went at our pace, as we walked around and explored. Ines took us to the papyrus museum where they showed us how papyrus paper was made, and nice little addition to end the tour. Afterward, we asked for a recommendation on a falafel place and they took us there and still brought us home. They went above and beyond on this tour. Highly recommended!

Great experience in Giza and Cairo

We had only two full days to spend at Giza and at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, so we needed to optimize everything in order to enjoy them at our best. We got in touch with Adam and he organized everything for us: private transfer from the airport to our hotel in Giza, full day tour to the pyramids and the Sfinx (with Saqqara complex included) with a very expert egyptologist... who accompanied us also during our visit to the museum... everytime in contact with the main office of this company through whatsapp for everything we could need. Great job, guys!

Giza pyramids 3 hour tour

Did a 3 hour tour of Giza Pyramids, Valley Temple and Sphinx. My tour guide Ahmed Ghanem was great- very knowledgeable and took lots of pictures and didn’t push extra stuff. I had a short window of time to make a visit, and worked out great. Picked me up and dropped me off at hotel, and driver shuttled us around inside the complex so could cover a lot in a short time. Really nice visit and glad I did it!

Response from the operator: Dear valuable guest, We are very glad to have you. Thank you so much for trusting our company :) We are very happy to know you enjoyed your tour with our team, We will pass your lovely words with your tour guide Ahmed, He will be very glad :) We are looking forward to have you again! Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.

How much does Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu cost?

+

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.

Is Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Access inside The Great Pyramid of Khufu start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
