Exceptional Trip — Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur
Exceptional India Trip — Highly Recommended We visited India at the end of July 2026 and had an absolutely amazing trip covering Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, personalized, and completely stress-free. Janu and his team were outstanding. Janu took the time to understand our requirements and preferences, including traveling with our two children (ages 14 and 12), and customized the entire itinerary around our family. What really stood out was that there were no sales pitches or pressure tactics—the focus was genuinely on making sure we had the best possible experience. Our driver, Mr. Diwaker, was excellent. The car was extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and having cold water and snacks available throughout the journey was a wonderful touch. The guides were another highlight of the trip. Manu in Delhi, Raj in Agra, and Mr. Surya in Jaipur and Adil in Udaipur were all knowledgeable, personable, and excellent at explaining the history and significance behind each monument and destination. They didn’t just give us facts—they shared the stories, legends, and myths that brought each place to life, all in excellent English. They also understood that we wanted time to explore on our own. They gave us plenty of space, were never pushy, and were incredibly considerate given the hot and humid July weather. They even took some fantastic, Instagram-worthy photos for us along the way! The guides also did a great job recommending the right handicraft and souvenir stores based on our interests and preferences. One tip: remember to negotiate! In our experience, the final price was often around 30% lower than the initial asking price. Although we selected our own hotels and flights, Janu helped arrange and book everything on our behalf. That made the entire trip incredibly easy and hassle-free. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond really set the service apart. I highly recommend Janu and his team for anyone planning a trip to India—or even travel beyond India. Janu genuinely cares about his clients, constantly checks in to make sure everything is going well, and never seems to lower the bar when it comes to service. We came home with wonderful memories of India and a very positive impression of the people who helped make the journey so special. If you’re planning a trip to India, I would not hesitate to recommend Janu and his team.

Amazing tour! Highly recommend!
We were lucky enough to find Janu Private Tours through friends who had traveled with them a few years ago and couldn’t stop raving about their experience. Now we completely understand why! From day one, Aqeel was amazing to work with. He was patient with all of our questions, always quick to respond, and helped us put together an itinerary that was perfect for us. A huge shoutout to our driver, Sunil, who kept us safe, comfortable, and stress-free throughout the trip. His kindness, professionalism, and guidance made our time with him very enjoyable. Surya, Mehrag, and Joji, the local guides arranged in each city, were absolutely fantastic! Their knowledge was incredible, they had answers to every question, and they made learning about the history and culture so interesting! We came away feeling like we learned so much! One of the coolest moments of the trip was meeting Janu himself in Jaipur. It was great hearing about his travels and how he built the company. You can really see how much passion he has for creating memorable experiences for his guests. What impressed us even more was that his care for his guests didn’t stop when our tour ended. As we continued traveling around India on our own, he took the time to check in on us, make sure everything was going smoothly, and offer helpful advice for the next stages of our journey. Absolutely brilliant!
I only have fantastic things to say about booking through Janu Private Tours. My partner and I did the Golden Triangle tour, starting in Delhi and ending in Jaipur, and we honestly cannot speak highly enough of the attentiveness, flexibility, and care shown throughout the entire experience. From the airport pickup to taking us absolutely anywhere we wanted to go, and patiently waiting wherever we were, nothing ever felt like too much to ask. Every part of the trip felt seamless and genuinely tailored to us. Both guides we had were excellent. Imran was incredibly knowledgeable, and his photography skills were such a bonus throughout our time in Agra. Akram was equally brilliant in Jaipur, flexible, warm, and very hospitable. By that stage of the trip, we were slightly overloaded with forts and monuments and wanted to experience more of the everyday life and soul of Jaipur instead. With very little notice, Akram completely adapted the day and showed us the city more like a local would. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Aqeel was also incredibly responsive on WhatsApp at all times and was always there to help us plan and answer any questions along the way. The true standout for us, though, was our driver, Zaheer, who is also in the attached photo. He was such a kind, professional, and thoughtful presence throughout the trip. He was friendly and conversational, while always respecting our space and downtime too. He kept the beautifully maintained sedan stocked with water, drove expertly through long distances and busy roads, and always waited for us somewhere easy to find. He even took us around Delhi himself, which we really appreciated. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely looked after for the entire trip. It is clear that Janu Private Tours has an exceptional team, and every single person we interacted with contributed to making our experience so memorable. If you are unsure whether booking a private tour and car for the Golden Triangle is worth it, absolutely do it. We could not recommend Janu Private Tours more highly.

Went with 12 women in a luxury van filled with water, pops, candy and snacks. Added a Tiger Safari at Ranthanbore! If you want to be pampered and driven to see lovely India, staying at great, comfy, beautiful lodgings, by people that are so kind and treat you like family, go with Janu Tours. Every need was met, and those you didn’t even know you needed: impromptu stops for Lassi and Masala Chai! You will not regret booking with Janu Private Tours! I’ll be back to book a month long visit with elephants!!
