From Fes to Marrakesh through the Sahara and the high Atlas
My boyfriend and I did a 4 days tour with Morocco Travel with our guide Rachid. We travelled from Fes, via Ifrane then Midelt all the way to Merzouga before heading to Dades and Roses valley until we reached Marrakesh. The trip was well organised and the company was responsive to our requests. In particular, we wanted to organise a night with a Berber nomad family - apparently an unusual request - but the company managed to organise this for us. Staying a night with a nomad family was surely the highlight of our trip. Our host, Fathma, was very kind and prepared us a delicious dinner and breakfast. Sometimes less is more - we would reccomend to try this experience. Our guide Rachid was really kind and fun to be with. He hosted us one night with his family in Rissani and made us experience the day to day life of Rissani. We even played biliardo with some of his friends - he really made us experience the authentic Marocco. We also had fun playing music in the car. We would def go again! 100% reccomended. The only small thing we would suggest changing is the Maison d’hotes where we slept in Valles des Dades. The host, Zhara, was very kind but the place looks as if it was abandoned and the food was decent, but def not good. Probably Covid hit badly the place … perhaps another option in the area would be better. Anyway this was an amazing experience and we would do it again and again!

Unforgettable experience
We did the 4 day private tour with Mohammed and we had a great time. Morocco is stunning and the desert is such an experience. The drive is long but it is most definitely worth it. Mohammed is great and provides lots of tips and information on the area as he grew up in the desert. We also really loved the accommodation, especially the luxury tent in the desert which is just like a hotel room and the Dar Morocco hotel which has amazing views of the dunes. The tour is well planned and you will see a lot and are totally looked after. The 3rd day was pretty relaxed which I think works very well. We could chill for a bit and use the hotel pool. The desert is breathtaking as are the atlas mountains. We also really enjoyed the trip to the Berbere nomad village.I highly recommend the tour,it,s a great way to see a lot in a relaxed way,you won't be disappointed.

The ultimate guide
An incredible experience led by our amazing guide, Hassan. The organization was flawless from start to finish. Pro tip: stay an extra night in the desert. One night is simply not enough to get the full effect.

Great trip, great guide
Our guide was Hassan, who was very fun, friendly and knowledgable about pretty much anything we asked. My cousin and I went with our grandmother, and he was always making sure, she was happy, even arranging a bithday cake for her in the desert. It was a lot of value for a good price. The hotels were great, everyone we met were very hospitable and kind. The hours in the car went by much faster than you would think, if you enjoy the view and ask your guide some questions. The car was also very comfortable to sit in for a long time. Everything was beautiful, and I definitely recommend both the company and Hassan as your guide.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes cost?
+
Prices start at $295 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
