Special experience
Oleg was a fantastic guide. The trip was wonderful beginning to end. The Bernina train is beautiful and we made a few extra stops coming back to see special sites. We would definitely book woth Abroad tours again.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this. Glad the Bernina Express lived up to the views, and that the extra stops on the way back added something special to the day, that kind of flexibility is exactly what a private tour allows. Thank you for saying you'd book with us again. Abroads Tours Team

A must do!
Oleg was great with communication and had some great recommendations for our stay in lake Como. He took us around the best parts of St Mortiz and when we road the train, he walked us on the train to our seats to make sure we were all set and was waiting for us on the other side when we were done! This was a highlight of our trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you for this. Glad the recommendations for Lake Como were useful, and that making sure you were settled on the train and waiting on the other side in St Moritz made the day feel taken care of from start to finish. Glad it was a highlight of your trip. Abroads Tours Team

Private tour on breathtaking Bernina Express
Oleg from Abroad Tours was fantastic in explaining history, economy and geography as he drove us from Milan through Lake Como to Tirano. Oleg settled us in the Bernina train with reserved window seats for the 4 of us on both sides of the train for the breathtaking ride to St Moritz. He was waiting for us in St Moritz and told us the history how St Moritz started as a tourist resort in mid 1800s as he showed us around the city. My family enjoyed the stop in Laderach chocolate shop. Oleg then safely drove us back to Milan along spectacular Alpine roads.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this detailed review. Glad the drive through Lake Como to Tirano gave you the history, economy and geography context, and that the reserved window seats on both sides of the Bernina Express meant no one missed the views on the way to St Moritz. Good to hear he brought the city's history as a resort town to life too, chocolate stop included. Thank you for sharing this. Abroads Tours Team

Private St Moritz Tour
The tour was amazing, and Stefano was a fantastic guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a private or small-group experience. Having done both large tour bus excursions and this smaller tour, I can confidently say the service, hospitality, attention to detail, and overall experience were far superior. It was well worth it, and I would not hesitate to book again.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this comparison, having experienced both large bus tours and a smaller, private format, your perspective on the difference really stands out. On a tour like the Bernina Express, going private makes a real difference: first class seats for the best possible views along the route, pick up and drop off included so there's no logistics to worry about, and full flexibility to shape the day around you rather than a fixed group schedule. Glad that exclusivity and attention to detail came through. Thank you for the strong recommendation, we look forward to welcoming you back. Abroads Tours Team

Private Tour, Beautiful Scenery, Outstanding Guide
This was an outstanding private tour with our guide, Oleg. He met us promptly at our hotel in Milan at the scheduled time and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. We chose this tour for our family of four because we wanted a more personalized experience rather than being part of a large tour group, and it exceeded our expectations. Oleg handled the train ticket arrangements to St. Moritz and even ensured we had window seats so we could fully enjoy the spectacular scenery along the route. When we arrived in St. Moritz, Oleg was waiting for us at the station and guided us through the charming town before taking us to a wonderful restaurant for a traditional Swiss lunch. The return journey to Milan offered an entirely different landscape, with several scenic stops along the way that made the experience even more memorable. Oleg is an exceptionally careful and professional driver, and we always felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. His attention to detail, organization, and friendly demeanor made this tour truly special. We highly, highly recommend this private tour to anyone looking for a personalized and unforgettable experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you for this thorough review. I'll pass it on to Oleg. Choosing a private format for a family of four is exactly where this tour shines, hotel pickup, window seats arranged in advance for the ride to St Moritz, and Oleg waiting for you on arrival rather than any downtime lost to logistics. Glad the lunch, the town, and the different scenery on the return leg all added up to a memorable day, and that you felt well taken care of throughout. Thank you for such a strong recommendation. Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.
How much does Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps cost?
+
Prices start at $499 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.
Is Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 1st Class Bernina Panoramic – St. Moritz & Swiss Alps start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Milan?
+
On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Milan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Milan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
