About this experience
Archery in itself is a fun sport and lots of people do it as a hobby. We have a large property here in Joshua Tree where you will have plenty of space to shoot arrows at very far distances if you'd like too. The archery range spans out to 100 feet. Hitting the targets is a bit tough at 100 feet but we recommend that you try just for fun. It's exciting hitting the target at a farther distance. You'll notice your accuracy will improve quickly and in 20 minutes or so and you will become a good archer before you know it. Doing archery with friends, companions, or family is a great experience to do while in Joshua Tree or Palm Springs or if you are just passing by and want to stop by for an hour and shoot some arrows, it's a fun unique activity that you probably won't do anywhere else. We have targets set up for you when you come along with lots of arrows to shoot and bows. All you have to do is show up. Our archery range is located in a beautiful and relaxing scenic setting. See you soon

Archery in Joshua Tree
Great experience. Our guide showed us how to hold the bow, place the arrow aim and shoot. It was very informative then we were open to shoot from distances ranging from 20' - 100'. Our family really enjoyed shooting at both targets and fake animals.
Response from the operator: Glad you had fun. Thanks for stopping by Joshua Tree Archery.

Go have fun shooting arrows!
Dirt road leads to a yard by a home in the desert. We were met by Frank who was kind and helpful. He demonstrated and taught us how to shoot and we were able to hangout and shoot for the hour. My kids (14, 11, and 8) and myself had a good time!
Response from the operator: Great review!! Glad you got to do the archery experience. Thanks for stopping by :)

Astounding Archery
After several minues of instruction and demonstration, Frank allowed to shoot as many arrows as we could, using the various distances and targets to get better at the technique. It is in an open field so no problem hitting someone else or having anything unsafe happen. A great experience. Note: This is on a dirt road and the address is that of the neighbor as the county has not yet given him a physical address! Don't worry about being in the wrong place. When you see the bales of hay at the end of the property (opposite from the road), you are at the correct place. The road has been renamed, so maps that are not updated may show the old information.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the review guys. Glad you had fun.

Fun activity
Directions are a little confusing (not all gates open) but once we figured it out we had a lot of fun doing something different on vacation.
Response from the operator: Thanks for stopping by, Glad you had fun. Archery is a great way to spend an hour. Shooting arrows into targets.

Horrible Customer Service
I had booked an archery session as a birthday experience and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, my interaction with the owner over the phone made me cancel. When I called to confirm my booking, I greeted him politely, but the call was abruptly disconnected without explanation. When I called back, he stated he was busy and could call me later. While I understand being occupied, the lack of communication and professionalism during the initial call was disappointing. Because of that interaction, I didn't feel comfortable moving forward with the booking and had to cancel. It's unfortunate, as this could have been a great experience, but customer service matters.
Response from the operator: 😂, lol. Not sure why they allow people to leave a review if they didn’t do the experience. Please read the other reviews . Sorry about the miscommunication over the phone , but no reason to leave a 1 star review. That doesn’t justify doing archery , that justifies a phone call , lol .

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Palm Springs.
How much does Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park cost?
+
Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Palm Springs usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Palm Springs is not rushed.
Is Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 62 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Palm Springs, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park?
+
Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Palm Springs can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Palm Springs and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 1-Hour Archery Session Near Joshua Tree National Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Palm Springs within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Palm Springs?
+
Palm Springs sells architecture tours through midcentury neighbourhoods, Aerial Tramway trips up San Jacinto, Indian Canyons hikes, Joshua Tree stargazing and windmill farm runs. Shade, water and pickup points separate a good desert tour from a rough one. On Outty we rank every Palm Springs experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bank Heist Escape Room Game for Private Group, Palm Springs Modernism Architecture & History Bike Tour, Vampire's Lair Escape Room Game for Private Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Palm Springs?
+
November to April. Book dawn or evening slots in summer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Palm Springs?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
