Amazing Experience

Family rafting and was brilliant experience with all the safety equipment that cannot be missed. An hour and a half of rapids, swimming mid river, waterfalls all rounded off with a great buffet lunch!! Lockers onsite, with showers and changing equipment, pick up and drop off at hotel all included. Top tip wear flip Flops or shoes you don’t mind getting wet!

Highlight of our holiday

This was a 2hr experience on the river. We saw monkeys, an iguana and countless birds. There are a lot of steps though and you need have a reasonable level of fitness and mobility to cope with them! Our guide was amazing and great fun. I loved this experience, thank you!

Excellent white water rafting! Fun guide, waterfalls, sluices, gorgeous scenery.

The driver picked us up early from our hotel and drove us to the location for rafting. Our times were changed, so we didn't know our lunch buffet time would be changed too. At registration, they only cover you with insurance up to age 65. After that, you are on your own! One must climb down 600 steps to the river and then up 400 steps after an hour's rafting. The river is wonderful with constant rapids. Not much floating! The poor driver had to drive us back to our hotel and this time with traffic it took 2 hours! Then he had to go back! Traffic in Bali is awful.

Great fun white water rafting!!

My Wife & I booked to go white water rafting while on holiday in Bali. I was looking forward to it but a bit nervous too. But the experience was excellent. We had the 2nd trip of the day so when we arrived we were offered lunch which was a good selection of local food and drinks. If you take the 1st trip you get lunch when you return which is probably better so you can have a beer etc :) They had good secure lockers to keep your stuff. I took my phone with me and our guide kept it in a waterproof bag which meant I was able to take some photos at the half way break. There are 600 steps down which are a little steep, I wore flip flops which were fine but if you have something with a little more grip that’s better. The rafting was really cool and not risky at all and we shared a boat with a nice Korean couple and the guide was brilliant so we all had great fun!! Some lovely waterfalls on the way and the ride was great fun. 400 steps up afterwards so you need to keep some energy back! Showers available with towels after and a nice little cafe and a place to buy merch and photos. Definitely recommend it!

Best white rafting experience ever!

We had an incredible experience - our host on the boat was Agus. He was super friendly, gave us very clear instructions and was incredibly friendly. He shared some fun facts with us throughout the trail. When we first arrived, we were given the life jackets, and equipment. Our host kept our slippers in a waterproof bag on the raft. We were then guided down to the river to get ready to get on the rafts This was my first time ever on a river raft experience and it was a spectacular. First you go down 600 flights of stairs, super safe and easy to navigate. Breath taking views (too bad I couldn’t keep my phone on me, I strongly recommend a waterproof watermark smart phone cover). We got on the rafts. Mason Adventures starts quite early on in the river so we got to enjoy 10 kms of fun! The way up was a lot easier - steps were wider and a lot easier to climb up so it was still lots of fun. Each raft is also fitted with a GoPro so if you were like me and couldn’t bring your phone along, you can buy the whole video from the reception. The whole trip lasted 2 hours. We got to jump in the river and swim (when Agus said it was shallow enough and no currents), we stopped by a waterfall and took pictures and enjoyed a lot of ‘boom booms’ along the way. It really was an incredible experience. The facilities are incredibly clean and hosts are super courteous. We had a shower after we were done with the rafts, then we went for a complementary buffet lunch. I highly recommend this for families! Def a once in a lifetime experience.

Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.

How much does Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali cost?

+

Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.

Is Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 128 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali?

+

Around 45 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Premium Ayung River White Water Rafting in Bali start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kuta?

+

On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Bali 5 Days and 4 Nights Private Tour - Best and Famous Site. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kuta?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kuta?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
