Actually the #1 highlight of our trip to Central Europe!

What an amazing experience with Andrea! My adult son and I visited Prague in late June and my dear friend Margaret (travel advisor and owner of Signature Sojourns) had found Andrea for us and suggested this “Hidden Vineyards Private Tour”. (She knows how much I love wine and learning about wine). From the very start of the tour, Andrea treated us like we were the only people she had ever taken on this journey. Very personal. Very entertaining. We strolled through a magnificent garden with champagne glasses in hand while she wove a story of the history of the garden, it vineyard and the man who created it. She then took us to the Prague Botanical Gardens for another “hidden” vineyard. This included a wine tasting (with amazing charcuterie accompaniment). It was not just a “tasting” it was a master class from a certified sommelier. We learned so much and really enjoyed it! But here is where she went above and beyond. Our 2 hour tour (which lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes!) was concluded but - - we had been discussing “not to be missed” things around the Prague Castle and she wanted to be sure that we saw an amazing library (and it’s incredible treasures) and the Royal Gardens so instead of just pointing these things out on a map, she drove us up to the Castle, drove all around, giving us directions. And these were not to be missed sights in Prague! She did not have to do this, but she did. If you are anywhere near Prague, please contact Andrea. She does tours in and around Prague and beyond. You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny.

Response from the operator: Dear Cynthia, Thank you so much for this wonderful and incredibly detailed review! I truly appreciate the time you took to write it. It was such a pleasure meeting you and Tommy and introducing you both to some of my favourite hidden corners of Prague. I’m so happy you enjoyed not only the vineyards and wines, but also our little extra adventure around Prague Castle afterwards. 😊 And of course, a big thank you to Margaret for connecting us in the first place! I hope you and Tommy took home some wonderful memories of Prague — and Czech wine. 🍷 NA ZDRAVÍ and hopefully see you again one day! Andrea

Great experience! Andrea...

Great experience! Andrea was very friendly and had great knowledge of Pragues vineyard history as well as the current local wine history. The venues were beautiful! It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Johnel and John, for your wonderful review! It was such a pleasure spending some time with you both and sharing the story of Prague's hidden vineyards. I'm so glad you enjoyed discovering not only the fascinating history of winemaking in Prague, but also the beautiful vineyard settings that make this city so unique. I truly enjoyed our time together and hope the memories—and perhaps a few Czech wines—will stay with you long after your trip. I hope our paths cross again one day, whether here in the Czech Republic or somewhere else in the world. Until then, safe travels and cheers! 🍷 Warm regards, Andrea

Great experience!

This was a very different wine experience than other tastings we’ve done. Andrea took us to two smaller vineyards within the city where we walked around and saw the flower gardens, structures as well as the grapes. It was nice not spending an hour on a bus driving into the countryside. The tasting was very educational. We liked all the wines we tasted. She provided a very nice charcuterie plate, more than what we could eat. It was a great day, Andrea was very nice and well informed. We appreciated the hotel pick up. We highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear Jill, Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was such a pleasure meeting you and Mark and sharing Prague's hidden vineyards with you. I'm happy you enjoyed the experience and the wines, and that you appreciated discovering a different side of Prague without leaving the city. I hope you had a wonderful family reunion and enjoyed your day in beautiful Kutná Hora as well! Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. And who knows—maybe we'll see each other again someday! 😊 Warm regards, Andrea

Best Tour In Prague

If you only have time for one tour while you are visiting Prague do this one!!! Andrea is an amazing tour guide. Every moment of this trip was amazing. She has the day planned but also flexible to accommodate the pace and desires of the guests. Her knowledge of wine is stellar and you can tell that she loves wine and loves telling guests about her beautiful city. We were amazed at the hidden gems she showed us nestled right here in the city. She also gave us lots of tips for great places to dine and enjoy wine on the remainder of our visit. And, also tips on other places of interest around the city - some we never would have known about had it not been for Andrea. It was a perfect day - our only sadness was when it was over and we had to say goodbye. We departed with memories we will treasure forever and a new friend we will visit every time we are in Prague. Trust me when I say you will be glad to take this tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Vanessa, Thank you so much for such a beautiful review. That was truly so kind of you to write. It reminded me once again why I love doing what I do so much. 😊 It was honestly such a pleasure to spend the day with your family, especially during such a special moment of your Prague visit while supporting your daughter during her study exchange at Charles University. I really loved being able to help you discover my beautiful city a little beyond the usual tourist paths, and I’m very happy you experienced the tour exactly the way I hoped you would — relaxed, personal, flexible, and full of hidden discoveries. And yes… the only sad part really was saying goodbye at the end of the day. Although thankfully, maybe it was not really a goodbye after all. 😉 I’m already very much looking forward to seeing all 3 of you again soon for our Kutná Hora wine adventure together! I truly cannot wait to continue where we left off — with more wine, stories, beautiful places, and hopefully many more shared memories. Thank you again for your incredibly kind words, trust, and wonderful company during your time in Prague. See you very soon again! Warm regards, Andrea Wine Travel in Czech

Fabulous

Our sommelier guide was lots of fun, friendly, with a great sense of humor. She was very knowledgeable about Czech history, and the vineyards in Prague. The wine tasting portion of the tour was very informative and professionally done.

Response from the operator: Dear Patricia, Thank you so much for your beautiful review — and please also thank dear Sue from me as well 😊 I’m so happy to hear that you both enjoyed the day, the vineyards, the wines, and also the storytelling side of the experience. It honestly felt very natural and easy with the two of you from the very beginning — one of those tours where it feels much more like spending the afternoon with lovely friends than “guiding.” I think the famous Toni connection definitely helped there too 😉 And thank you especially for mentioning both the wine tasting and the history side of the tour. I always try to create experiences that feel personal, relaxed, informative, and fun at the same time — so hearing this means a lot to me. It was truly such a pleasure meeting both of you, and I’m very grateful our paths crossed during your Prague adventure. Hopefully one day our wine paths cross again — whether back in Prague or perhaps somewhere over a nice bottle in Canada 😊 Warm regards to both of you, Andrea

Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 100 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour?

+

Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Prague´s Hidden Vineyards Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

+

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, 3-hour Complete Prague Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
