Saw great vantage points
I had already walked around Prague for two or three days before I had my walking tour with Doug, so I'd seen a lot of the must-do sites. However, Doug was able to share vantage points that I otherwise wouldn't have seen as a typical tourist. He's friendly and gracious and has great knowledge of photography. Do it!

Excellent use of the weather
Even with the fog, the itinerary was changed to maximise spots Doug knew to get the right pic and he tailored the 2nd half to cater more for my needs and where I wanted the tour to finish. Being the only one on the tour made it a more personalised tour.

Great PhotoTour!
Had a great time with Doug on a photo tour! I was the only person on this tour, so it was like receiving a private tutorial on composition, considerations while shooting, tips and suggestions I will be able to use for years to come. Doug and I covered a lot of ground in Prague, from shooting below the Charles Bridge, on the Charles Bridge, and high above Prague, where panoramic views existed. Doug is easygoing and personable, so spending 3 hours was easy. It helps to be fit, since we walked to numerous vantage points, but I'm sure he goes at a pace that is comfortable for the client. I would recommend this tour for anyone new to the city, who is looking for great places to get memorable photos to take home, and anyone looking to learn more about the art of photography. Even though the sky was overcast when Doug and I were out, I was pleased with my photos. I returned the next day to apply some of the lessons learned and was even more pleased with blue skies and brighter colors. Thanks for a great tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you Carl!

Great photography guide in Prague
The photography tour was great! Doug was extremely quick in his responses to our email and the instructions to get to the meeting point were easy. He made sure to understand our previous photography experience and expectations. There was so much to see and capture, and it was a nice change from the usual tourist trail. Doug gave some tuition on composing photos and was always ready with helpful advice on the photos we took.
Response from the operator: Thank you Charlotte.

Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Prague Private Photo Tour for Photography Enthusiasts start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
