Nerudova
Nerudova Street is the main artery of Malá Strana, descending from Prague Castle toward Malostranské Square. Named after Jan Neruda, one of the founders of modern Czech literature and the author of Tales of Malá Strana, the street preserves much of its Baroque character. Before house numbers were introduced, buildings were identified by decorative signs — many of which still hang above the doors today. We’ll walk slowly down the street, noticing these historic house signs, observing architectural details, and peeking into small craft workshops and antique shops.

Nový Svět - New World - is the most romantic street in Prague. It is unanimously called #1 hidden gem in Prague by travelers. Time seems frozen here 400 years ago. Irregular cobblestones flanked by ancient city wall and moat on one side, and by dwarf dwelling houses on the other remember the times when here stepped servants of the king, eg, Ticho Brage, one of the fathers of astronomy. Loreto square seems a bit sleepy, but there are three landmarks there: the biggest secular baroque building in Prague (Černin Palace, now Ministry of Foreign Affairs) with adjacent garden, the Capuchin cloister and Loreto itself. Visit to Loreto is possible, but not included.

The oldest orchard of Prague, dating back to 12th century. There is hardly another big city in the world, where you can pick apples or pears 200 meters away from its central point (Charles Bridge). The Church of Our Lady Victorious is home to one of Prague’s most well-known devotional figures, the Infant Jesus of Prague. The statue, believed to originate from 16th-century Spain, was brought to Prague in the early 17th century and later became associated with numerous reported miracles. Pilgrims from around the world visit the church to see the statue and pray. A long-standing tradition involves dressing the Infant Jesus in different robes; today, its wardrobe includes more than 300 garments donated by devotees.

St Nicholas Church
Built in the first half of the 18th century, St. Nicholas Church is one of the most important High Baroque monuments in Prague and among the finest north of the Alps. Its massive yet elegant dome dominates the skyline of Malá Strana, while the interior reflects the theatrical principles of Baroque architecture, where space, light, and painting merge into a single composition. The historic organ once played by Mozart is still preserved here. Entrance is included.

No Guide, No Cancellation Notice, Half of Our Day in Prague Lost
We only had two days in Prague, so I spent a considerable amount of time researching and carefully choosing what we wanted to see during our very limited stay. I selected this tour specifically because the advertised itinerary covered many of the places we were most interested in visiting. I was genuinely looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the tour never happened. The tour information stated that the guide would contact us through WhatsApp a couple of hours beforehand. We did not have WhatsApp, so I proactively messaged the guide through Viator a full day before the tour to let them know. In hindsight, this should have been my first concern. We have booked many excursions through Viator, and communication through the Viator app has never been an issue. We received no response to that message and no communication whatsoever leading up to the tour. We arrived at the designated meeting point 10 minutes early and waited. No guide appeared. I contacted Viator Support, and they attempted to reach the guide as well. There was no response. I then called the guide directly. Again, no answer. Approximately 30 minutes later, I finally received an email from the guide stating, “I’m really sorry, I was pretty sure that i cancelled this booking”. That response was incredibly disappointing and, in my opinion, very unprofessional. Being “pretty sure” a booked tour was cancelled is not sufficient when travelers have planned a limited amount of vacation time around an advertised and confirmed excursion. Even if the guide believed the booking had been cancelled, my message the previous day should have prompted someone to verify the reservation and contact us. The biggest loss wasn’t simply the tour itself. It was our time. By the time we realized no one was coming, it was approaching lunchtime and a significant portion of one of only two days we had in Prague was gone. We suddenly had no itinerary and had to spend our vacation time figuring out where to go, how to get there, and which of the places we had planned to see could still reasonably be fit into the remainder of the day. We ultimately made the best of it and created our own itinerary, but that isn’t what we had paid for or planned. What makes this particularly frustrating is that this tour was supposed to be one of the highlights of our first day in Prague. Instead, the lack of communication and failure to show up left us scrambling and unfortunately created a very negative first impression of our time in the city. Travel plans sometimes change, and cancellations happen. That is understandable. Failing to notify your customers, particularly after they contacted you the day before, is not. When travelers have only a limited amount of time in a city, you aren’t just cancelling a tour. You are taking away time they cannot get back.
Response from the operator: I sincerely apologize and recognize my mistake. I immediately returned the money and proposed a tour for free. Statement that it's not about the money, but missed experience, is obvious, no need to elaborate on this. Calling me "unprofessional" though is a compliment - I am; I do not optimize income and do not try to sell more spending less; and do not sell beaten stories and worn-out anecdotes. I'm sharing my knowledge, research, experience and passion for Prague; and when I make mistakes, I acknowledge them upfront. This is not professional, this is human. This said, I'm putting in place more robust system of notifications that will rule out any future confusions (especially for the tours which was several times cancelled and rebooked, like this one). And I really appreciate if visitors have WhatsApp - this facilitates communication.

Vadim was very punctual and friendly , tour was a long one with alot of hidden gems , the coffee break was much appreciated, a little bit more information on some of the sites would have been appreciated and some more content for the sites visited. Of note he was also very willing to take photos.

Something to experience
We appreciate that Vadim did the tour with just the two of us rather than cancelling last minute. He was very punctual and communicated effectively. Note this tour is a bit of cardio so prepare yourself for it and dress accordingly It loses one star because it was a bit haphazard and the information wasn’t presented in a chronological order. Some of the questions we asked, he wasn’t able to answer but all in all it was a picturesque walk with a coffee break and lots of amazing pictures

My fault I contacted you rather late, I will pay more attention to it, even if it's 5 minutes of confusion, it is better without it.
