Stories of Nazi occupation and Hitler’s arrival at Prague Castle in March 1939. Stories of the Czech Jews deported to concentration camps and ghettos. Let me tell you the story of Reinhard Heydrich, a high-ranking German Nazi, who became a governor of the Czechs in 1941 and was killed by two brave Czech soldiers. There are only a few tourists who know about this, became one of them. This tour is NOT POSSIBLE to do on Mondays and Saturdays (closing dates of museums we visit). Let me know your preferred date.

Our private tour of Prague’s Jewish Quarter by Jana Gluchman was the highlight of our trip. Jana was a true professional with an incredible gift for presenting history. She focused on the facts and the significance of every site we visited, making the experience far more educational and impactful than a self-guided walk. We visited profound sites like the Old Jewish Cemetery and the various synagogues, all while benefiting from Jana's deep knowledge and expert delivery. Our FAVORITE day/activity in Prague!
Jana was fantastic. Our private tour was our favorite day in Prague. Her knowledge was impressive, and her suggestions were spot on. We are a very inquisitive bunch and she was able to answer all of our questions with ease. Her intentionality with our daughter was also so appreciated. As a Travel Advisor myself I can be quite particular when it comes to tour guides and excursions, but I have already recommended Jana with Prague Journeys countless times and will continue to do so!

Terezin private tour
Jana had notified us where and when to meet in Prague and was waiting for us at the meeting time with a car for our adult family. During the drive to Terezin she provided a lot of background and history for the area and life in Prague. She was friendly, personable and easy to understand. Upon arrival at Terezin she explained what she was going to guide us to and how we could see as much as we could in the somewhat limited time, we had available. She took us to all the key sights and explained their significance and even let us explore some of the more unusual sights like the inner wall tunnel. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the tour.

Fell in love with the city of Prague - all thanks to Jana! She led an incredible tour of the city and was super accommodating based on our timeline and areas of interest. Jana smartly started us at the top of the hill near the monastery and we worked our way down through the city! She did a great job of explaining the history of every building, every walkway, every bridge - even the Castle lights. Did you know the Rolling Stones paid to have the Castle lit up at night? I did not. Jana naturally did! All in all, I cannot recommend Jana enough! Thanks again!
