Book this
Don’t hesitate- just book this tour. We learned so much about beer, beer culture, and life in Prague from our guide Martin. Additionally he took us to “hidden gems” we never would have discovered on our own as Americans. Definitely one of the best parts of our trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much Megan, it was my pleasure. Martin

A Must-Do Craft Beer Tour in Prague
Our craft beer tour in Prague was one of the highlights of our trip. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Czech beer culture and also about the history of Prague and the Czech people. Every stop came with stories and context that made the experience feel much deeper than just a beer tasting. This tour was not based on the standard “how to” of beer making, but on the Czech focus on drinkability, storage, and serving, to elevate the consumption experience. What really stood out was how well the guide explained the differences between Czech and American beer culture. Learning how beer is traditionally consumed in the Czech Republic, the brewing methods, and the social importance of beer gave me a completely new appreciation for it. The comparisons to American craft beer culture were especially interesting and helped connect everything in a relatable way. The food was excellent and paired perfectly with the beers. I also appreciated that the tour focused on places outside the main tourist areas. It felt authentic and gave us the opportunity to experience neighborhoods and pubs we never would have found on our own. As someone who is not normally a beer drinker, I was especially impressed with how patient and thoughtful the guide was in helping me understand which beers and presentations of beer I actually enjoyed and why. By the end of the tour, I discovered several styles I genuinely liked. Highly recommend this tour to both serious beer enthusiasts and complete beginners. It’s the perfect mix of history, culture, food, and amazing local beer.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this lovely review! Na zdraví! J

Beer is so good and Alex is great!!
We had a wonderful experience with Alex. The Red Stag was fun and delicious. Mira the Beer-tender did a great job teaching us about the art of pouring a draught. Fuze was super cool and our favorite Lager. Two Roosters has a great garden. The best part was definitely having Alex as our guide. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and so fun. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you guys to this lovely review. We truelly appreciate it! Jakub

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Prague Craft Beer Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Prague Craft Beer Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Prague Craft Beer Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Prague Craft Beer Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 72 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Prague Craft Beer Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Prague Craft Beer Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Prague Craft Beer Tour?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Prague Craft Beer Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
