    Pefect for self-paced exploration

This tour is not just about the history of the Prague Castle. It also covers lots of legends (and what is Prague without them) and some details about local everyday life. The historical accounts are fascinating - nothing like on your typical history lessons. The guide also points out curious details of the surrounding architecture, which I would probably just pass by on my own. To put it simply, I didn't expect that a tour throughout a single place can be so engaging. And they have this audio guide in Polish. I was especially happy about it.

Response from the operator: Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We’re delighted that the Prague Castle audio guide surprised you in the best way — not just with history, but with legends, local details, and little architectural clues that are easy to miss. Prague really would not be Prague without its legends, so we’re especially happy that this part stood out to you. And it’s wonderful to hear that having the guide in Polish made the experience even better. Feel free to recommend TouringBee to friends who enjoy discovering places beyond the obvious facts. We’d be very glad to guide you again in another city.

A great way to keep discovering Prague

I've been slowly getting to know Prague, and this audio guide turned out to be a wonderful companion for exploring Prague Castle on my own. The route felt natural and well-paced — I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. St. Vitus Cathedral left me speechless, and the stories behind it made the visit so much richer. Golden Lane was charming, and the viewpoints over the city were simply stunning. The guide lasted just the right amount of time — enough to feel immersed without getting tired.

    A well-designed and easy-to-use audio guide

The audio guide for Prague Castle turned out to be very well designed in both format and content. The duration of about one and a half hours feels just right for this location — enough time to explore at a relaxed pace without getting tired. Unlike city walking tours, the distances here are not too large, so the route feels cohesive and easy to follow. The stories are engaging, and the narration is clear and pleasant to listen to. The information complements the walk well without turning it into a lecture. I also found the app very easy to use — everything was intuitive, and I didn’t experience any technical issues during the tour. Overall, it’s a comfortable and well-thought-out way to explore Prague Castle.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that the TouringBee audio guide for Prague Castle felt well designed, comfortable, and perfectly paced for this unique location. It’s great to know you enjoyed the clear narration, engaging stories, and a route that flows naturally without feeling tiring or overwhelming — exactly the balance we aim for. We’re also glad the app worked smoothly and intuitively throughout your visit, letting you focus fully on exploring the castle at your own rhythm. We hope this experience with TouringBee becomes the start of many more discoveries, and that you’ll choose our audio guides again as you explore new cities and landmarks on your future travels.

    Explore the castle

The audio guide for Prague Castle was really helpful! It provided so much detail about the history of the castle and the surrounding buildings. I liked how it was structured, so I could explore each part of the complex at my own pace. The guide had some fascinating stories about the old kings and the development of the castle over the centuries. I especially enjoyed learning more about St. Vitus Cathedral, which is stunning.

Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket) cost?

    +

Prices start at $6 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket) take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket)?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Prague Castle Walking Tour with Audioguide (no ticket) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
