1 hr view of trees and brick wall in lock :(
Went on the 2 hr grande cruise. Should’ve read the reviews before booking. Stuck in the lock for 1 hr if the trip staring at brick wall on one side and trees on other. No commentary onboard. Very expensive for what it is. Could’ve achieved more FREE OF CHARGE by walking up one river bank crossing a bridge and walking down the other river bank. A pedalo is much better value gir money. So don’t waste your money.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations, especially with the extended time in the lock and lack of commentary. Your comments about the value for money are important to us, and we’ll review them to improve the experience. We regret that we didn’t provide the enjoyable trip you were hoping for and appreciate your honesty.

Average
Our family boarded the Grand Bohemian for a two-hour luncheon cruise. We were greeted with a shot of Czech liqueur (at 11:55 am) and escorted to a table in full sunlight. The children could not handle the heat so we stood in the back. About 45 minutes into the cruise, the shades were lowered to allow for a more comfortable experience. The food was very heavy (fried and smothered in sauce). The servers were working hard. A good deal of the cruise was spent navigating the loch. There was no audio tour. While it was nice to see the sites, improvements are needed. This was far from ideal.
Response from the operator: Hello, thank you for telling us about your experience, we appreciate your feedback. When it's nice weather we usually leave the deck open for even more spectacular views of the city, however, we fully understand that it might pleasant for everybody. We apologize for any inconvenience on board. We hope you've enjoyed the city of Prague and hope to see you on board again.

It can not be worse ...even for toerists
1 star for the service clean8ng the tables. Otherwise 0 stars We spent more time standing still whilst dock8ng ( without a view) than moving
Response from the operator: Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your disappointing experience and that much of your time was spent stationary without a view. Your concerns are valid, and we will review the cruise schedule and docking procedures to improve the experience for future guests. We appreciate your note about the table cleaning and regret that the overall experience did not meet expectations. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 🙏🚤

2 hour cancelled. Offered a one hour tour with '2 free drinks' but no money back
Tried to take a 2 hour cruise today. There were 5 people and apparently they would only do the two hour with 6 people. The options given: Money back Or A one hour tour with two 'free drinks' for the same price as the 2 hour which would leave the next hour. When asked if I could just pay the price for one hour without the drinks (IE a refund) I was told no. I understand the difficulty of during this covid times. But the rudeness/hostileness of the ticket taker who could not understand that the drinks would not be free as I would still be paying for the two drinks instead of getting a refund for the difference without drinks (or actually just being a considerate business and providing drinks for the disruption and all the extra wait time) was absurd. Even in asking politely if we could have a conversation he was just an angry man. I ended up deciding that I'd rather support another business just because of the ticket taker. Was he likely having a bad day? Yes. Does he have to take it out on others who are still trying to support his work? No.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We deeply apologize for the frustration and poor service you encountered. It’s unacceptable that you were met with rudeness, and we completely understand your disappointment regarding the handling of the situation, especially in terms of the pricing and lack of flexibility. We will certainly look into this to ensure our staff maintain a respectful and accommodating attitude, no matter the circumstances. We appreciate your feedback, and we’re sorry we lost your support on this occasion. We hope you’ll give us another chance to provide a better experience in the future.

Poor value
The review cruise is fine, but the phone application guide is rubbish and the service on board is poor! Great views on the river but you’ll get this with any boat tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the views of the river but are sorry to hear that the phone application guide and onboard service did not meet your expectations. We will review both aspects to ensure that future guests have a smoother and more enjoyable experience. Your comments are valuable, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.5/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Prague: 2-Hour Grand Vltava River Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, 3-hour Complete Prague Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
