A Wonderful Experience
Wonderful experience. Our driver, Ciro, was on time, friendly, accommodating and a wealth of knowledge. Our guide through Pompeii, Luisa, was equally knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and timely.

Amazing! Save your time and Book Rosato now
Save your time searching and book Rosato now! Our family of five was on a summer cruise and we had a book private tour/car transfer in each of Florence, Rome, Naples, and Sicily. Our day with Aaron and Rosato Private Tour was easily head and shoulders above the rest of the other three experiences. I wish we could clone them and bring them to the other cities! Aaron was a perfect blend of charming wit, history/guide, and great English that kept the whole family engaged. We packed in a full day of Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii - and he was super accommodating, relaxed with recommendations along the way. (not to mention navigating crazy roads and driving from others). Our three teenage daughters said it was the highlight day of the trip. Would undoubtedly book with them again

Great day on the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii!
We booked directly with Rosato private tours for pick up at the cruise pier in Salerno for a party of 7. Our driver Cirro, was waiting for us as soon as we got off the ship. Vittorio Rosato had let us know that Cirro would be waiting for us at 8:00. It was super easy to find him and he was parked close. All communications with Vittorio prior to the trip were pleasant with prompt replies and great instructions and information, We were taken to Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii. Vittorio arranged for a private guided tour at Pompeii. Our guide Luisa was wonderful. She was so knowledgable and told us so much that we would not have been able to get from the audio tour. She was efficient so that we were able to see the most important areas in the limited amount of time that we had. Overall it was a great day! Cirro navigated the traffic on the Amalfi Coast and got us where we needed to be in a comfortable air conditioned Mercedes van and gave us information about the areas we were traveling through. I would recommend the company without hesitation. I just wish we had a longer time to visit!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples cost?
+
Prices start at $136 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Positano Sorrento and Pompeii Private Tour from Naples start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
