First stop is Positano: developed vertically within a tangled overlay of streets, alleys and shops that expose the colorful Positano fashions well-known all around the world. In the town center is the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta that shows up with its large dome, tiled in majolica and sheltering some precious works like polychrome marble altars.

Do this trip with Antonio!
Antonio guided us on a fantastic day. He pointed out interesting and gorgeous sights, gave clear directions, and made awesome recommendations. My advice is to take his advice! He encouraged us to go on a short boat ride in Amalfi and his lunch recommendation was spot on. You’ll not find a better tour operator! The boat trip, lunch, stops for pictures, free time in the villages, and Antonio was a skilled driver on very windy roads. All made for a 5 star day.

Golden Tours of the Amalfi Coast was indeed Golden.
An absolutely fabulous day from beginning to end. Our driver was Antonio. But he was far more than just a driver. He made spot on recommendations at all our site stops. The lunch he recommended in Ravello was not only very good but had the most amazing view. Antonio pointed out so many important sites in addition to driving us to the three cities. It was a full day, but it was an outstanding one.

Ask for Nello
Nello was an excellent guide for the day. He was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. He managed the tricky driving on the hairpin roads very safely and kept checking in to ask if we were comfortable with his driving. The day was very smooth and enjoyable thanks to him. We enjoyed our time in each of the three towns and felt we had enough time in each. We regret missing seeing the Terrace of Infinity due to rain when we arrived. This was a lovely and efficient way to visit some highlights of the Amalfi coast.

All the hot spots in a day
We enjoyed this tour. The guide was fabulous and it was great to not have to worry about transportation or logistics. For those that would like to spend more time at each small town, more than an hour, then I would recommend another tour. This gave just enough for us to walk around each town, do some lite shopping and enjoy a drink. We also got to enjoy a boat ride with gorgeous views. And even a nap back to Sorrento.
