Chef Tony gave us a wonderful half day tour of the Amalfi Coast!!
Our driver, Antonio (Chef Tony), was a treasure - he knew the Amalfi coast very well and had many stories to entertain us with. He was a good and safe driver, even in the narrow Amalfi coast roads. We saw so much beauty in our time there - the only negatives were the sheer number of people and the amount of traffic, which were no fault of Tony. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

Great experience
The tour was great. Our driver Raffael reported a lot of interesting facts during the trip and always good recommendations for the stops. The modern Italian music selection (geolier) was also very good. I highly recommend the tour. We couldn't have done it alone.

Beautiful! But a couple things you should know…
First of all, our tour guide, Mauro, was great! Very friendly, funny, and informative. He was punctual, and on time at every stop. We would definitely take another tour with him! The Amalfi coast is beautiful, but anyone that’s at all prone to car sickness should take that into consideration. The drive is nonstop twists and turns with very little places to pull over, or turn around. Once you’re on the drive, you just have to go through it. We were not affected by it, but if motion sickness is an issue, this might not be a tour for you. Also, if you’re uncomfortable with heights, you should know that a lot of the coast is curvy roads with a steep drop on one side of the car. On the plus side, there is a concrete/stone guard along most of it. We went to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. All of them were beautiful. Positano may be difficult for some, as there are no flat areas. The town is built on a mountain side, so it’s all uphill and downhill walking. The walk down to the beach to get the best view of the town might be too much for some people. The rest of the stops are easy to walk around. Overall, we had a great day and would definitely do it again!

Auto tour Amalfi Coast
Our driver Luigi was on top! Kind, professional and friendly even if it is not really a guide. Driving on this very touristy and narrow road is quite a feat when you come across a bus. Stops of one hour in each city are sufficient. The restaurant chosen by Luigi was superb but a little expensive.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Positano, Amalfi and Ravello Premium Tour from Naples start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
