Brilliant
Our driver was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. It helped that his English was superb. He couldn’t do enough for us & was almost a guide telling us facts & stories as we passed different towns & coastline. He was so good we booked him to pick us up to take us to our next destination in Positano. I think he was one of the best drivers we have ever had.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for your kind words about our driver. We truly appreciate your feedback and are pleased to know you enjoyed the journey. It was a pleasure assisting you, and we hope to welcome you again in the future.

Kindest, most reliable taxi service ever!
Kindest, most reliable taxi service ever! This summer, our group booked a ride with Guiseppe for our trip down to Positano from Rome. The four hour drive was very comfortable. Great AC, smooth driving, especially on the windy roads along the coast. Guiseppe gave us great advice about what to do during our time on the Amalfi Coast. On our return to Rome, we planned to only taxi to Naples, then take the train the rest of the way. Unfortunately, one of us got a foot injury in Positano. The night before we called Guiseppe to extend our ride all the way to Rome, and he was able to accommodate us, no fuss, in their very busy schedule. Alberto was our driver for the return. Also very knowledgeable and friendly! Thanks so much PositanoTaxi!

Best decision ever
Before my trip, I reached out to Giuseppe to book a transfer from Rome FCO airport to Positano and then from Positano to Napoli Centrale Train Station. Giuseppe was kind, prompt in his replies, and made me feel comfortable and welcome from the start. He met us at the airport in Rome as expected and we made the 4 hour journey to Positano in his luxurious and ultra comfortable Mercedes S class. We were able to get some sleep after our long plane ride, and arrived to the doorstep of our hotel before we knew it. On the day of our return journey, Giuseppe was on time and drove us to the train station in Naples. He is an expert driver navigating the Amalfi coast and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. He even looked up our train platform for us. Positano Taxi provides excellent service and I will certainly book with them for any return visits. Grazie Mille, Giuseppe!!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Positano airport transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Positano airport transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Positano airport transfer take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Positano airport transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Positano airport transfer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Positano airport transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Positano airport transfer?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Positano airport transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
