Outstanding - Joe Banana made our trip unforgettable!
My wife and I had an incredible trip to Italy, and utilizing the Joe Banana team was one of the best decisions we made. We utilized several services during our stay in Sorrento, including private transfers, a private boat tour to Capri, and a private tour of Pompeii. From the beginning and throughout our trip, Nunzia was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly responsive, professional, and dedicated to making sure everything was perfect. Fernando handled private transfers and we couldn’t have asked for a better person. He was punctual, professional, friendly, and made everything stress free. Our private Capri boat tour with Francesco was one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip. He was an outstanding captain and made everything special. It was an unforgettable experience that I recommend for everyone. Finally, Paulo was our guide for Pompeii. He did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and hilarious. We utilized Joe Banana for many services. We didn’t just leave Italy having the trip of a lifetime but also many new friends at Joe Banana. We cannot wait to plan another trip with Joe Banana. Worth every penny; great experience all around!
This was such a magical tour. Our driver, Alejandro, was upbeat and competent, and our conversations with him really enriched the experience. Our guide at Pompei was fantastic; knowledgeable, kind, positive, and protective. I can’t imagine anyone could get a better tour than the one we received (two hours was the perfect balance between immersion and getting worn out by the heat). And the lemon grove experience was the best part of the whole day! Rita and Umberto were such gracious hosts. They introduced us to the art of growing lemons and fed us an amazing home made meal. What a blessing to have been with them! The final couple of hours exploring the shops and restaurants of Sorrento were a perfect decrescendo to the day. Many thanks for the Joe Banana team for everything!!!

100% recommend and will use again!!
We used Joe Banana for a few rides on our trip to Italy. One of those was a day trip that started with a hotel pickup/drop off in Sorrento, and included Positano, Amalfi, and Pompeii. As part of our day, we had the option to hire a personal tour guide at Pompeii that included skip the line privileges. Mario was in contact with our tour guide, Rosella, along the way and made sure that we arrived on time. The driver that had us for the day was Mario and he was fantastic. Being with a driver all day means you hope you get someone good, and we did. Mario was very knowledgeable about the local areas, pointing out many small touches along the way, even his “dream house” along the Amalfi coast. He was so polite and courteous, and we really enjoyed the entire experience, from his punctuality to the conversation in the car. He also stopped several places for scenic photos, and gave us a great recommendation for a street snack in Amalfi. We were very happy with all of our Joe Banana experiences, would recommend them, and will 100% use them again when we go back!

Only the best!
We arrived via cruise ship at 7:00 a.m. Danielo, our driver, met us at the gangway and took us to his beautiful, large and clean van. He could not have been any friendlier. We wanted to see the Amalfi coast, so he recommended that we do the drive along the coast and stop at a few of the towns and then make our way to Pompeii. For those who have never been, driving the narrow, two Lane Rd. along the coast is a real challenge. Danielo was an excellent driver. I’m still not sure how he managed to make the turns required without even scratching the side of the vehicle. The entire day was seamless. He was able to bring is everywhere we wanted and even took us to a gorgeous restaurant for lunch. We made it back to ship with 15 minutes to spare. I would highly recommend this company and Danielo specifically!
