Outstanding vacation! Wish we had a week!

We had the most amazing time! We took the train in from Rome early that morning, and Francesco met us at the station. He had a sign with our name and he was really easy to spot. Download WhatsApp and you can communicate live with him, making it super easy to make sure everyone is where they need to be. We first drove to Pompeii, where we met our guide. He offers a guide separately for $140, and she was worth it! Grace was so knowledgeable about the ruins. She took our family photos with Mt. Vesuvius in the background! She made sure we saw all of the most famous things and explained the layout of the town. Don’t buy a tour before you get there. Take Francesco up on his offer of a private guide! I could see the big groups all losing people, but Grace went at our pace. After two hours at Pompeii, we drove up into the hills above Amalfi. Francesco dropped us off in the small town of Ravello where we had pizza, pastries, and cappuccinos. Everything was amazing! We spent one hour in Ravello. Ravello is a charming town and our daughters loved seeing all of the cats. It’s the perfect lunch spot before reaching Amalfi. Sit down and enjoy eating here because you will want to wander around Amalfi. After Ravello, he took us to Amalfi. He dropped us off and we were able to get lost in this charming town! It was the highlight of our entire Italian trip! We bought gelato, limoncello, souvenirs, and wandered down to the volcanic beaches. It was breathtaking. We spent On our way back, he stopped in several places along the road for us to make sure we had all of the scenic pictures we wanted. This trip was the highlight of our vacation. We will definitely be coming back to Amalfi. He made sure we were back at the station in time for our departing train back to Rome. This was a perfect day trip! Download the TrainItalia app for train info. It’s really cheap and easy (even for Americans like us who have never been to Italy before).

Response from the operator: Grazie and thank you for coming, I’m very happy to hear that , it makes me feel special. see you soon and take care. Rosy and team
