Before arriving in Pompeii, one break along the freeway for a mid-morning breakfast or snack. First stop will be at the Pompeii archeological site where your professional guide it will show the highlights of this intact ancient Roman city. Hear from your guide the history and stories of what happened during the famous eruption of Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD. Amazing Day in Pompeii and Naples
We enjoyed the tour so much. Nariman and Emanuele picked us up from our hotel lobby. Manuele drove and Nariman explained what we would be doing. We stopped for a moment and got coffee and pastries. We drove to Pompeii during which Nari told us all about what we were seeing. When we got to Pompeii, we met Anna Sofia who showed us Pompeii. Both Anna and Nariman were patient with me being a little slower walking in the heat. Very thorough instruction by both guides and Manuele was a very safe driver. Our lunch was amazing! We would do this same tour again in a heartbeat!

This was a wonderful tour...
This was a wonderful tour to Pompeii and Naples from Rome. The drivers (we needed 2 vans due to the number of people in our group) met us at our apartment right on time and were amazing! Antoinette was an exceptional guide full of great information, very animated and just a lovely person. We stopped for a quick breakfast on the way, which was very needed since we left at 6:45 am. We also have a great guide in Pompeii who gave us a wonderful 2 hour tour. After the ruins, we went for lunch and wine tasting at a local winery (amazing!) and spent the afternoon in Naples. Seriously a great way to spent a day!! Highly recommend!
