A Great Day Among These Stunning Ruins
What a fascinating day touring both Pompeii and Herculaneum! Vincenzo was so knowledgeable about the history of both cities, and really knows his way around the huge Pompeii site. He did a fantastic job contrasting the two cities and the different ways they experienced the Vesuvius eruption. We enjoyed the day immensely.

The knowledge of an archeologist tour guide is more than worth the cost of admittance. Visit both sites to get the full story and experience. The food at the Pompeii restaurant was poor at best. Our guide Vincenzo, was both very knowledgeable and humorous making the tour more then just a tour.

An Exceptional Tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum
This was the best of all of our tours while on a 10-day cruise including stops in Italy, Greece and Croatia. I was able to text with our guide before the cruise stopped at the port in Naples. Vincenzo was quick to respond and was very reassuring we would be back to our cruise port well ahead of the embarkation time. We followed the directions outside of the port terminal and found Vincenzo easily, He was holding his sign well insight as we approached a huge group of tour operators. We had a slightly larger group than advertised because another tour had been cancelled and was absorbed into our tour. It did not affect Vince's presentation at all. He was excellent. The tour itself was long with a lot of walking on uneven cobblestone streets in both Pompeii and Herculaneum. I logged over 15K! Vince was very attentive to each of us helping us down from large steps when necessary. His explanations at each of the sights was superb and with some humor. There was a young 10yr old boy in our group and Vince made sure it was an educational event for him. Thank you, Vincenzo, for a very special day bringing history alive for my husband and me.

Excellent tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum . Highly recommend ! So much history that is so sad yet the beauty remains today to be seen. Ciro was an excellent guide.

By taking this tour there...
By taking this tour there was no wasted time - the route was curated to take in as much as possible. We were at least 2 hours walking and the place is amazing ... when shown our route at the end of our tour we were fascinated to see how little area we had covered but we were satisfied with what we saw. Some reviewers say you only need see either Pompeii or Herculaneum but we say that you need to see both. They are different
