Good Fishing Bad Crew
It was a rough day on the water but the staff started out with confidence and we all were excited to have a good time. Once we were out far enough the crew set up all the gear and we started fishing. One issue was that they did not explain anything and we had no idea what would happen once we started getting into the fish. There were 8 people fishing on the boat and 3 crew. We did not all speak the same language so we were unsure of what to do as the crew gave no direction. We passed through a few big schools of fish when every rod had a fish on. It was exciting but crazy at the same time. With it not being organized the same people kept bringing in the fish. If you didn't force your turn you wouldn't get one do to the lack or organization of the crew. So now the part that really put me off. When we got back to shore i asked what would happen with the fish as we had approximately 20 in the well. This is when the staff seemed to get upset and pretend they did not understand me. When i forced the issue more a crew member said why you want one? I said yes. He was visibly upset and gave me the smallest fish out of the well. This was a sad way to end the day. I can overlook some of the disorganization but when they get visibly upset when we asked for a fish this is very unprofessional. Speaking with another guest on the same trip they told me they had wished to take a fish home also but were afraid to ask after seeing how i was treated. All in all it was fun to catch some fish but i would not recommend this crew to anyone.

Lots of fish but dont ask to keep one
The trip was fun up to the end. The water was rough but the staff set everything up nicely. We went through a few big schools of fish when all the rods were full. Everyone had multiple chances to bring fish in. At the end I asked what happenes with all the fish? All of a sudden they acked like they didn't speak English . I then asked to take one back to the resort. They tried to ignore me. When I forced the issue they seemed to get mad and gave me the smallest fish in the well. Leaving at leas 20 fish in the well.

So nice support
I used this fishing touar. Needless to say, the touar was so nice. But this campany's service also was so nice. On the day fising, we could not go place where we met on the time, so we was so nueves and worried. But,Mr. Carlos Marcelo of this campany helped us kindly so that we could attend this touar. So, if you are chosing tour, I want to recomend you to choose this touar. Have a nice your vacacion and nice fising day with this touar!

Why this scores 44
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.
How much does Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.
Is Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Platinum Punta Cana fishing charter start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?
+
On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Punta Cana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
