Unfortunate experience
We booked a CUN-CZM flight and were assured there would be a transfer waiting at CUN regardless of any delays. We were delayed by about an hour and there wasn't. We were messaged to say we needed to get a move on or we'd miss our flight. When we did get to the agreed meeting point there was nobody there to greet us. After a stressful hour of waiting we decided to take a cab and ferry instead. Just as we were leaving someone turned up saying he was our driver but we couldn't understand who he said he was working for and he didn't know which terminal to take us to. We had booked a return flight with Starlit and the day before leaving were messaged to say payment was required up front. It was an offer declined as the cab / ferry option wasn't so bad.

Excellent
Excellent service, comfort, price and professionalism I realized that it is better for me to fly to Cozumel in time and money than to go by car in the traffic, see where it is safe to park the car, pay for it, see how to get to the ferry in the heat and all my things.
Response from the operator: ¡Gracias por tu reseña positiva! Estamos encantados de saber que disfrutaste de nuestro servicio para volar de Cancún a Cozumel. Esperamos verte de nuevo pronto.

Easy flight from CUN to CZM!
I flew into Cancun FBO from Belize on Tropic Air and wanted a flight to Cozumel (now that Maya Air doesn’t fly that route anymore). The whole experience was seamless. I gave myself 2 hours between arrival and departure time because I didn’t know how long immigration at the FBO would take. When Starlit contacted me to introduce the concierge, I let them know I was already waiting. They prepped the plane early and after some minor paperwork, we were off. The flight took about 35 minutes and was an easy ride. With luggage and travelling solo, I didn’t want to deal with buses or taxis and ferries to get to Cozumel so this was the way to go for me. Plus, as a charted plane, no extra baggage weight fees. It’s a win! FBO is across the tarmac from the international terminal and you can take a $20USD taxi but Starlit also has concierge that will not only pick handle the transport to FBO but will also arrange for pick up in CZM and get you to your hotel for $50USD. I didn’t use this service but nice to know!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that our concierge team was able to assist you, and we appreciate your feedback on our ground transportation service. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future and wish you all the best on your travels. Warm regards,

Easy alternative to get to CZM from CAN without busses, taxis, and ferries
I flew into Cancun FBO from Belize on Tropic Air and wanted a flight to Cozumel (now that Maya Air doesn’t fly that route anymore). The whole experience was seamless. Response from the operator: Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it! We're thrilled to hear that you had a seamless experience with us from Cancun to Cozumel. We totally understand the hassle of dealing with buses, taxis, and ferries with luggage. That's why we work hard to ensure that all of our passengers have a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Hopefully, this can be a win for many more passengers in the future! Thanks again for flying with us and for sharing your experience. We hope to have the pleasure of flying with you again soon!

Quick and Beautiful Travel Experience
We took this flight from Cancun to Cozumel as well as a return from Cozumel to Cancun a few days later. Our flight to Cancun from the US was delayed for four hours and this company waited on us. They were in constant contact with me. I was so grateful and impressed. The agent who met us was a delight and the pilot was professional. Our flight was beautiful and so much fun. The one suggestion I would have is to contact the company before you travel and make arrangements for them to pick you up at the airport. It is very confusing, crowded and there are no clear signs directing you to the shuttle (which is what they recommend you take to the "FBO" to get your flight). If you ask around, no one seems to know where to get the shuttle because they want to charge ridiculous fees ($50!) to take you on a 5 minute ride to the FBO. On the return, the shuttle was $30, which I think is still outrageous. Other than that, I highly recommend the company, the ease of transportation to Cozumel and the flight experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced when trying to locate the shuttle from the airport to the FBO. In the future, we recommend that guests contact us ahead of time to arrange for airport pickup, which will help streamline the process and ensure a smoother experience overall. Thank you again for choosing our company for your flight experience, and we hope to have the pleasure of serving you again in the future.

Why this scores 48
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel cost?
+
Prices start at $329 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel take?
+
Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Plane rental Cancun to Cozumel start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
