Even though the booking...
Even though the booking mistake was made by us, Nikos refunded our cost for the transfer. He said he didn’t want to take money for work he did not do. Very honest, very ethical. Highly recommend his services.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and recommendation! For me, honesty and integrity are just as important as providing reliable transfers. I’m glad we were able to resolve the situation fairly, and I truly appreciate your trust. I look forward to welcoming you on your next trip to Athens! Best Regards, Nikos

TERRIBLE
The driver showed up 25 min late at the cruise port terminal.. I texted him twice but no answer. Not even an apology or excuse. I got a text the night before asking if I would really be ready at 7:30.. I texted back I was leaving the ship at 7 promptly! I think he didn’t care. Never use this service!!
Response from the operator: Hi Betty Ann. I am deeply sorry that we did not manage to make you feel like the majority of our customers. Your original reservation was for the next day and when you told us that you made a mistake, we replied that there is no problem, and we will serve you. You canceled your reservation and made a reservation again with the correct date, you sent us messages on the platform on both reservations, so we don't know where to answer you. You also sent us a message at 23:00 to inform us that you will be leaving the ship earlier (7:00) and we replied that we will be there at the time you originally had state (7:30). Finally, the Port authorities took you out from another terminal, which is why there was a slight delay in picking you up, 15 minutes, since our driver was waiting for you from 7:25 a.m. at another point in the Port where passengers usually disembark from the particular cruise ship. Something that our driver also explained to you. We apologize that we did not manage to make you feel beautiful, and from what it seems from your review, we created an unpleasant experience for you, which is something that we don't do with our valued customers. Kind Regards, Nikos.

worst ever - someone stole our prepaid ride
We waited and waited trying to locate our driver. We were unable to connect with the local phone number as a US citizen. We finally connected and was advised the passenger was on the way to the airport. Said that was impossible I am the passenger, someone said that was their name on the sign and the driver never verified and some passenger from the Voyager cruise ship stole our pre-arranged and pre-paid ride. We advised the local operator to call the driver but got no where!
Response from the operator: I humbly apologize, it is something that happens to us for the first time when customers appear with the same name and with the same destination. I have no words to express my disappointment that you were not served in the usual excellent manner as we do with all our customers. We usually create great memories for our customers and what happened today has shocked me. I can't believe that such a synonym, as I wrote to you the surnames of the passengers that appeared in your position were exactly the same as the original name of your reservation, would create such an unpleasant situation for all of us and especially for you who did not have any reason to go through all this. We apologize once again, the full refund we gave you was the least we could do for you. The specific incident is a lesson for us, from which we will improve our services even more. Kind Regards.

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Piraeus Port to Athens Airport Private Transfer with Meet & Greet start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
