Really bad experience
1.They never actually arranged a special pickup point for us. There were always only two pickup spots to begin with, and they just told us we would have to walk 15 minutes from our hotel. Clearly, it wasn’t planned specifically for us, and there was no need to reschedule on the first day. 2.I changed addresses twice and asked them for the license plate number, but they never replied to my messages or picked up the phone. They only got back to me after the bus had already left, saying we’d missed it and telling us to use an even farther pickup point. This is basically just a disguised form of cheating.
Response from the operator: 1.- You did not provided your location till 11:00 pm the day before the tour, you rescheduled for the next day and we assigned a meeting point since you were staying at a HOUSE downtown. There was a need to reschedule since you never replied to any of our calls, emails, messages requesting your location 2.- On the day of the tour you rescheduled, you arrived 10 minutes late and we have evidence of your late arrival, we instructed to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before since the transportation does not wait past pick up time. We never changed pick up location and we did replied to your many messages and from the first message when you said that you were late we informed you that the transportation had already left

We loved this excursion It was a great experience with the pink lakes. I didn't know that it is a salt producing site. Very educational and with great pictures. We also got to see crocodiles, a boat ride and beach. A very full and fun day!
Response from the operator: Las Coloradas is a magical place, it has a beautiful color pink. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the tour!

Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun cost?
+
Prices start at $139 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun take?
+
Plan for about 13 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 13-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pinktastic Lagoon Adventure Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos from Cancun start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
