What you'll see and do
Pasir Island
If you’ve already visited the three main Gili islands and want to explore lesser known islets off the southeast coast of Lombok, pack your swimsuits and jump on this tour! We’ll get off the beaten path to underrated wonders on this full day Pink Beach and Southeast Gili Islands Private Tour. Don’t forget sunscreen and a change of clothes! After pickup at your hotel, we’ll be heading to the Telong Elong Harbor and boarding a private chartered boat to our first stop of the day – Pulau Pasir. Also known as Sand Island, this large patch of, well, sand in the middle of the sea is a great place to swim around and enjoy the clear, turquoise waters.
50 minutes here
We’ll head to Pink Beach 2 (Pantai Angin Angin) next. Located barely 2km away from the main Pink Beach or Pink Beach 1, this less-crowded area is the perfect place to relax and swim around.
30 minutes here
From Pink Beach 2 it’s just a short boat ride to our next island, Gili Petelu. Don’t expect fancy amenities or even bathrooms on this strip. Don your snorkeling gear, dive into the inviting waters, and hopefully spy a friendly fish or ten.
30 minutes here
Explore Gili Gambir, an exotic island in Lombok known for its striking natural beauty and strong cultural traditions. Beyond its turquoise waters and unspoiled landscapes, the island is home to an indigenous community that has preserved its ancestral way of life for generations. Here, you can discover the island’s rich history, learn about local customs, and enjoy the harmony between people and nature. Visiting Gili Gambir offers a unique chance to experience both the stunning environment and the authentic cultural heritage of Lombok.
90 minutes here
Snorkeling and paddling around will definitely whip up an appetite, so we’ll head to Pink Beach 1 for a hearty meal right after. Pink Beach is one of the only few pink beaches in Indonesia. It actually gets its color from pieces of reddish coral and shells that get washed up on the shore. Take photos by the pink hued sand and a dip in the sea or sit back and take in the breathtaking view. After a fulfilling day of snorkeling, paddling, and exploring Lombok’s iconic beach, we’ll make our way back and return to your hotel.

Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lombok.
How much does Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lombok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lombok is not rushed.
Is Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lombok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lombok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lombok and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pink Beach & Southeast Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lombok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lombok?
+
On Outty we rank every Lombok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tetebatu Walking Tour - Rice Terraces, Waterfall & Monkey Forest, Anggrek Putih Lombok Cooking Class & Garden Tour, Exclusive Private Experience: 5 Secret Gili Islands. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lombok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lombok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
