    Must Do!

Highly, highly recommend! Communication is great, they are timely, and very helpful. Our tour guide, Peter, was FANTASTIC!! We had the best day, he was incredibly kind and organized, and he handled everything for us (tickets, restaurant recommendations, etc.). He was so knowledgeable and made sure that we learned the history of everything we saw. We just couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much!

Pilsner Urquell and Castle Tour - A Must Do!

We were picked up on time in front of our apartment by Peter. From the start he was super friendly, deeply knowledgeable about all 3 parts of the tour (the castle, the brewery, the city of Pilsen). The castle tour was in Czech (provided by castle staff) though we paid extra for the English audio (unsure if its offered in English, we were the only 2 English speakers/non Czech speakers). After the castle we headed off to the Pilsner Urquell brewery. That was an excellent tour (in English by brewery staff) showing the history and evolution of the brewery. The tour finished in the "caves" where the barrels used to lager (some still do) and we were provided a sample of the unfiltered beer. We had lunch in town and wrapped up with a short walking tour of Pilsen provided by Peter. Overall this was a great experience and we highly recommend. Its a long day but worth every penny....or koruna.

    Fantastic Day Trip

We had a private day-trip with Michal which turned out to be one of our favorites. Michal was a fantastic guide who was charming and personable. He took our needs and wants into account and managed to provide us with a wonderful day outside of central Prague. He was an excellent driver and a pleasure to speak with. He provided us with recommendations within Prague that we took advantage of and he was absolutely correct! I would highly recommend spending a day with Michal as he is truly an excellent guide who obviously enjoys what he does. This was a great experience thanks to his efforts and knowledge.

    Fabulous Prague Experience

This trip rates in our Top 5 of the many we have done all around Europe. Michal was a fantastic guide and host and really made the experience a memorable one. His knowledge and cultural understanding far exceeded our expectations and he genuinely was interested in sharing all of it with us. In addition, he took the time to get to know us and provided lively and engaging conversation throughout our day. I would highly recommend visiting Prague with Michal and participating in any of the tours he offers. It was a wonderful day for our entire family!

Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pilsner Urquell brewery Private day trip, Pilsen City and Chateau tour + Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
