I'm a native Krakowian. For three cosy hours, we'll make pierogi (Polish dumplings) by hand, the way my mum taught me. Then sit down to traditional soup, our pierogi + homemade cake, and good stories, with Kraków's history and art along the way. For fifteen years, I've cooked for the people I love. Eight years ago, I started opening my home to guests from all over the world, and it's become a real joy. As a born Krakowian I get to share stories about the city's history, especially when it comes to art and architecture, another passion of mine. The pierogi will be made following authentic recipes handed down generations in my family. My home sits right by the Wisła, where the locals live, about 15 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by bike along the river from the Old Town. Total beginners are more than welcome, and confident cooks still pick up proper technique. It's about the experience and the chatter, not perfection. Nobody leaves my kitchen hungry, or as a stranger.

Best pierogi in all of Poland!!

Hanna was so much fun! Her pierogi are the absolute best we had in Poland! Dare I say…better than my own babcia’s? Oh and the beetroot soup! It was delicious! It was a great experience to be in Hanna’s home in a small group. Her home is lovely with a beautiful view of the forest from her kitchen. Thank you Hanna for giving us an experience we’ll never forget.

Amazing gluten free pierogi dough recipe

Very welcoming and wholesome experience. Went into this as someone who is normally quite shy, but immediately felt at easy. Hanna is absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. Me and my partner had a very pleasant experience. Afterwards we walked slowly back to the town centre which took about 1.5h which was very scenic and beautiful and gave us a chance to burn off all the beautiful food we ate. Thank you Hanna

    Best pierogi in Poland!

Hanna was so much fun! Her pierogi are the absolute best we had in Poland! It was a great experience to be in her own home in a small group. Hanna’s house is lovely with a beautiful view of the forest from her kitchen. Oh, and the soup! To die for! Thank you Hanna for giving us an experience we’ll never forget.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review Jill! 🥰 Very happy you enjoyed it, thank you for the fun time together!

    Hospitality, good food and fun

I spend a wonderful afternoon. Was really fun to learn to make these delicious typical polish treats. The fact that the host is a real polish girl with generations of home cooking makes it really interesting. She can tell so many stories that give you a glimpse of how polish people live and think. Thank you Hanna for your kindness and skills

Response from the operator: Merci Marlies! It was fun sharing our stories while making our pierogi :) Hanna

Not sure at the beginning, delighted at the end!

We didn't really know the concept, we must admit we didn't really know what it would be like, but it was really cool, and the time went by super fast! Hanna is a super attentive person, she is also very cultured, she really knows a lot of things about her city, but also about art and history in general, we had a good chat.

Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup! Very happy with your visit and the conversations we had, hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay! Hanna

Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków cost?

    +

Prices start at zł 260 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pierogi Cooking Class with Hanna in Kraków start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow to Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Transfer and Ticket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
