Don't miss this wine tasting experience and venue !
Very knowledgeable and friendly attendant. Beautiful venue with sweeping views in a very modern building. Tasted wines to suit us - attendant was very adaptable. Very organised, had everything set up at the tasting bar. You will learn that Jacob's Creek is part of a vast wine group, but the roots and actual creek are there. A great starting point for the Barossa.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your review with us- I'm so pleased to hear that you felt that your experience had been tailored to your preferences, and we were able to share some of our incredible history and heritage through our wine experiences.

Perfect experience for a couple!
Experience provides great value for money. The host was knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed the wines and the setting was lovely! The platter was delicious and we had a perfect day for sitting outdoors at one of the tables and enjoying the sun and views.

Very surprised how nice this was!
Back in the UK, I'm not particularly fond of a lot of Jacob creeks wines that we have on offer "off the shelf" and for that reason have avoided visiting past years. However this year we wanted to try something different and gave it a try. I'm very glad we did. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are great and family friendly, the staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, and to top it off, I didn't try a single wine I didn't like! They were all very good wines and it took me by surprise. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit and try the wines.
Response from the operator: What a wonderful review to read! I am so happy to hear you enjoyed our wines and our spaces, and we were able to change your perception of Jacob's Creek. We hope we can welcome you back again on your next visit!

A good start to the day
A fantastic start to our Barossa Valley tasting day. A great experience and of course delicious wines which we could choose what we wanted for tasting.

Blissful & Relaxing.
This experience began with wine tasting so that we could then choose our own wine for the picnic & our host was Lauren. She was friendly, knowledgable & listened to our likes & dislikes eventually guiding us toward choosing a most divine grenache. The picnic bag also included a rug, water, a food pack & a map of walking trails so we could choose our own picnic spot. We chose to get away from the cellar door & find a quiet spot by Jacob's Creek itself. Absolutely perfect spot. We couldn't help but relax & soak in the quiet, the bird life & the croak of resident frogs. The food pack consisted of cheese, quince paste, pate, crackers, & dried fruit. It was all delicious, but in my opinion could have done with half the quantity of cheese & the addition of something fresh (fruit or vege). As we were in the Barossa for the weekend & this was our day two, we'd already had pretty much the same lunch the day before (at maggie beer's farmshop) & our accomodation had generously provided cheese & crackers, so by this time we were a little cheesed out! This is no one's fault & GREAT that local products are celebrated & promoted. I share this so that viewers are aware & can pace themselves accordingly. Our experience with Jacobs Creek was excellent & we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We also appreciated terrific & helpful staff.
Response from the operator: We really appreciate the feedback on the food element of the picnic experience, and will certainly take this on board when we review our offering. We always appreciate guests taking the time to share their thoughts on what we offer, so we can continue to evolve and ensure guests leave having had a memorable experience.

How much does Picnic and Wine Tasting Experience in the Barossa Valley cost?

Is Picnic and Wine Tasting Experience in the Barossa Valley worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Picnic and Wine Tasting Experience in the Barossa Valley?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
