Great tour! Great guide!
Amazing tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guide and some amazing sites. Had some delicious foods, but weren’t adventurous enough for a couple of them. Definitely had a blast though and was willing to try 99% of things.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Hope see you next time.

Food Tour not Focused on Food or Clients
My guide did not care about my preferences (I was the only one on the tour). She ignored my request to focus only on food. She gave me foods I said I didn't want like sushi (She wanted to eat sushi). She seemed to have little passion for local food and engaged very little with the friendly food sellers. She took me on a walk in the park (I don't know why). She insisted we visit a temple even after I said I didn't want to go (she said it was mandatory). She talked about the temple with no expertise. She spent a long period leading me around the old town Phuket and lecturing about its architecture (She knows little about this subject). During this long tour of old town, we didn't sample any food. My guide complained a lot about her job and dealing with clients. She spent much of the tour ordering me around and rushing me from place to place. This would've annoyed me if it wasn't so perplexing and funny. In the end, despite my complaints, she told me I enjoyed the tour. I think she was unhinged.
Response from the operator: I am A. I am appreciating by your booking. I were on the tour one month ago, I am still remembering him. I were a tour guide with this customer I would like to explain out this case by myself because it was unfair for the people working and took care of the customer on the tour. He insulted and bed behavior with the local people, event when he ate the food, he throws the food on the floor I had to pick up with the tissue. *I love to hear you all I am not perfect but I try to do my best on the tour. * 1.My guide did not care about my preferences (I was the only one on the tour). She ignored my request to focus only on food. She gave me foods I said I didn't want like sushi (She wanted to eat sushi). She seemed to have little passion for local food and engaged very little with the friendly food sellers. Replied: It was private tour; he booked only one on the tour. I did not ignore the him for his request I took him to see the local food and also there were food fair in the same time I offered him so many thing and he said I were full and “why you offered me”, yes, I offered the sushi it made by the local people with Thai traditional ingredient. I did not to eat the sushi I had a food tour all week and I were full from my lunch time. It was lied from his review. I worked as tour guide for long time I know many friendly food sellers because I do the tour long time. It was not my fault and did not your business to complain me. 2.She took me on a walk in the park (I don't know why). She insisted we visit a temple even after I said I didn't want to go (she said it was mandatory). She talked about the temple with no expertise. Replied: He was a lied because when we were in the local night food he did ask me to visit the park “I said of cause because it was on the tour program” when we walked in the park he said I am hungry I had to walk back to the local market one more time he always two faced all the time. I did not know what he wants for himself I tried to the best what he requested but he complained that I offered and talk to much he did not like it. 3. She spent a long period leading me around the old town Phuket and lecturing about its architecture (She knows little about this subject). During this long tour of old town, we didn't sample any food. Replied: He was a lied. I spent time in the old town very short time around 10 minutes for show him and history he said that he loves to take a photo. but he was not happy because he felt so humites and did not want to listen me he did not like walking and got a bit angry me. Then he complained on the review that I know a bit of the history (I can tell many things about my country where I live) but he did not want to listen it he love to complain the tour guide on the tour that his job. 4. My guide complained a lot about her job and dealing with clients. Replied: He was lied again. I love my job that why I worked for long time I am happy to give services and take care the clients. He loves to complain the people everywhere. 5. She spent much of the tour ordering me around and rushing me from place to place. Replied: He had another lied on the tour. I did the tour by program as our permitted on the detail I were not rush him as all we were flexible on the tour. He rushed for himself all the time and he confused by himself. It was not my fault. 6. This would've annoyed me if it wasn't so perplexing and funny. In the end, despite my complaints, she told me I enjoyed the tour. I think she was unhinged. Replied: Sure, it was not funny for me because he confused himself and complain on the review that he loves to do it. (I enjoyed the tour everyday).

Worst Tour EVER
This was LITERALLY the worst tour we have ever been on. Guide barely spoke English and had zero plan as to what we would eat on the FOOD tour. Two and a half hours into the tour we had tried one item. We repeatedly asked what we were going to eat and he gave us no response. He kept saying "you pick something, I pay". Well, we chose a VERY expensive food tour to be shown, by the guide, the best things to eat in Phuket. I would give this a negative review if possible, but that wasn't an option. I reached out to Viator customer service to ask for a refund. They told me that could not help me. Way to go Viator!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experiences. We did everything very well by policy of Viator and what is the customer review was opposite what we did on the tour but we love to hear your review to get better in the future.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Phuket Night Street Food Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
