Such fun experience especially for the children

Amazing experience, amazing place. The experience includes making the elephant food balls, then feeding the ellies. During the break you learn to cook Thai salad with shredded veggies and green papaya and cook noodles. It tastes amazing!! Then the mud scrubbing of the elephants which they really enjoy. Doesn't stop there, you get to go into the pool with the elephants. The whole time carers will always monitor and keep you safe as long as you stick to the rules. Regular breaks included healthy snacks for tourists with fruits and drinks and the buffet lunch was also quite basic and very healthy. Tons of photos taken which will be sent to you (no extra charge). The showers and toilets are basic but cleaned regularly. They also have a locker , provided with a deposit which will be returned to you when you hand over the keys. Please remember to take your towels!

Great Time

We had a great time at the elephant sanctuary. We made some food and fed the elephants following by giving them a wash and bath. I would recommend this sanctuary over others we saw as there is no use of chains and overall the elephants seemed happy and well looked after. Pretty Girl was especially beautiful 😍🐘

A Must

we got to 'play' with elephants, what more is there to say? the staff was amazing, sharing knowledge and being entertaining. we prepared food, fed the elephants, covered them in mud and then washed them off. not only where they taking pictures they shared, they noticed i was a solo traveler and took my phone to take even more pictures.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with the elephants and our staff. It’s great to know that we could make your solo trip even more special. We hope to welcome you again soon!

Not ethical at all

This trip is advertised as ethical. It definitely was not ethical. There were way too many people (50/60 people per group) crowding the poor elephants, making them do tricks on demand for photos. One elephant was crying which was horrible to see. In the bathing experience they lay 3 elephants, one being an infant in the water and were letting people jump and dive all over them. This tour puts the people/money over the animals they say they're looking after. Needs to be much smaller groups and stricter with the people attending. Should be more focused on the elephants and teaching people about them and their habits.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience and your concerns. Animal welfare is extremely important, and the program is operated under the venue’s stated ethical guidelines. We take your comments seriously and will forward them to the sanctuary management for review. Your feedback is valuable and helps encourage improvements in both group management and guest experience.

Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.

How much does Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour cost?

+

Prices start at $1400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.

Is Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Phuket Ethical Elephant Care Sanctuary Nai Dee Half-Day or 2-Hour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phuket?

+

On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phuket?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phuket?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
