Refund Request and Complaint Regarding Delayed Refund
I'm come from Viet Nam, The issue began on 24 June 2026, when I purchased and paid for two tickets to the Dinner Show Symphony of The Sea via MoMo Internet Banking through your customer service representative. On 11 July 2026, the show was cancelled due to severe weather conditions and a canoe accident that occurred on the same day. When I arrived at the restaurant, the staff informed me that the show had been cancelled. Later that evening, your customer service representative proactively contacted me to assist with the refund process. On 15 July 2026, I was informed that Rooty Trip would process the refund back to the original payment method, which was my MoMo Internet Banking account, and that MoMo Internet Banking Company would then transfer the funds back to me. I was advised that the refund would take approximately 3–5 business days to be completed. After waiting until 21 July 2026 without receiving the refund, I contacted customer service for an update. I was informed that the refund had been sent to MoMo Internet Banking Company on 20 July 2026. At the same time, I was told that, due to MoMo’s refund policies, there was no guarantee that the funds would be returned to my account within seven days. When I still had not received the refund by 3 August 2026, I contacted customer service again. I was informed that the delay was related to MoMo’s refund processing policies and was advised to contact MoMo directly for assistance. However, after contacting MoMo and seeking clarification, I was informed that they were unable to assist and that I should instead contact the service provider directly to expedite the refund process. As of 20 August 2026, I had still not received the refund. I would like to clarify that the responsibility for resolving this matter lies with both companies involved in processing the transaction. As the customer who purchased the service, I bear no responsibility for the internal handling of funds between your company and MoMo during either the payment or refund process. I am requesting a prompt and definitive resolution to this issue. I sent an email to Rooty Trip on 20 August 2026 regarding this matter; however, as of today, 26 August 2026, I have not received any response. I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and request a clear update regarding the status of my refund, including the expected timeframe for the funds to be returned to my account.
