    Bucket List Moment!

The Hot Air Balloon ride far exceeded anything I could have ever imagined! Our Pilot McKenna was amazing and our Crew Chief Nate was so accommodating! We chose to be picked up at our hotel and from the moment Nate picked us up until the moment he dropped us off the whole experience was top notch and so much fun! We ended the flight with champagne & charcuterie and it was just amazing! The flight itself was so smooth from the moment we got in the basket til the moment we landed. Such a bucket list moment! I absolutely highly recommend using this company for your hot air balloon experience! I cant say enough great things about them!

Response from the operator: Thank you for flying with us Abby and thank you for sharing about your experience with others! We’re so happy to hear that Captain McKenna and Crew Chief Nate delivered an exciting and memorable afternoon! It’s great that you enjoyed everything from the hotel pick up to the flight itself and ending with the champagne and charcuterie! We’re also happy to hear that you enjoyed how smooth the flight is from takeoff to landing! Thank you for checking off your bucket list with us and thank you for your recommendation, we hope to see you up, up, and away again soon!

    The whole crew was...

The whole crew was friendly and fun and informative. The balloon is not in the air when the sun actually sets, but the ceremony on the desert floor with the sunset in the background was lovely.

Response from the operator: Thank you for soaring the skies with us Emily and thank you for sharing about your experience with others! It’s wonderful to hear that you had a great time with our captain and crew, and that you enjoyed the champagne ceremony in the desert while the sun set. Thank you again for joining us among the clouds, we hope to see you up, up, and away again soon!

    Sorry, cancelled

Canceled due to high winds? We never experienced the wind, but I suppose the forest doesn’t always happen. We did get a full refund.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your patience with the cancellation of your hot air balloon ride due to high winds. We can understand how frustrating this can be, and though we hate cancelling flights, your safety is always our #1 priority and we will never jeopardize that. Hot air balloon rides are highly wind and weather dependent, and our team of pilots monitors the weather very closely to ensure a safe flight. They take into account wind and weather conditions pre-flight, during flight, and post-flight in our flying area, as well as thousands of feet in the air. Sometimes this cannot be felt in different parts of the valley, as the weather fluctuates in different locations. In the event of a weather cancellation we are always happy to provide a full refund, and hope to see you another time when the conditions are favorable for flight. Thank you again for your patience with the weather, we hope to have the opportunity to have you on a hot air balloon ride with us in the future!

Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phoenix.

How much does Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie cost?

    +

Prices start at $259 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phoenix usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phoenix is not rushed.

Is Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 249 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phoenix, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie?

    +

Around 87 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phoenix can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phoenix and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Phoenix Afternoon Hot Air Balloon Ride with Bubbly + Charcuterie start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phoenix within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phoenix?

    +

Phoenix runs on desert experiences: sunrise hot air balloon lifts over the Sonoran, Camelback and South Mountain hikes, off-road Tonto Forest tours and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Heat safety and start times decide whether a tour is good, so we weight timing detail in the ranking. On Outty we rank every Phoenix experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kayaking the Salt River Foxtail Trip, Small-Group or Private Grand Canyon with Sedona Tour from Phoenix, Grand Canyon with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon Van Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phoenix?

    +

November to April. Summer tours run at dawn or not at all. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phoenix?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
