Spectacular scenery!
The scenery was spectacular! We paid extra for the long boat at the lagoon and the views were breathtaking! This excursion was very well organized. The three stops were unique and beautiful. Lunch was really good too. You could choose from Indian and Thai food, and had vegetarian options. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Hi Jonathan, thank you for the amazing review! We are so glad you decided to take the longtail boat at the lagoon—it really does offer the most breathtaking views. It’s also wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the lunch buffet; we try hard to ensure there are delicious Indian, Thai, and vegetarian options for everyone. Thanks for the high recommendation!

It was ok
The bus and the driver to the marina was very good. We had to pay 400 baht extra at the start for the visit as well as 300 baht for the longtail boat (the total for the longtail boat was about 1800 baht) the speedboat was ok but i wouldnt recommend it for those who are old age or have stomach problems. The islands were beautiful but we couldnt visit maya as it was closed
Response from the operator: Dear NILSU_C, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found the transfer bus and driver to the marina to be very good, and that you were able to appreciate the natural beauty of the islands. We understand your concerns regarding the extra charges and would like to clarify these points: 400 THB Fee: This is the mandatory National Park Entrance Fee, which is set by the Thai Government and must be collected from all visitors. We strive to list this fee clearly on all booking platforms, as it is outside of our control. Longtail Boat: The experience with the longtail boat is an optional upgrade we offer for guests who wish for a quieter, more intimate journey inside the lagoon. We apologize if the speedboat ride was uncomfortable. We always prioritize safety, and unfortunately, sea conditions can sometimes be unpredictable, making the journey challenging for elderly guests or those prone to sea sickness. We appreciate you providing this caution to future travelers. Regarding Maya Bay, its closure for conservation reasons is determined by the National Park authorities, which is regrettably beyond our control. Thank you again for your valuable review, as it helps us set clearer expectations for our future guests.

Please check weather conditions yourself before booking!!! Very dangerous
I would not recommend booking with this company as they do not care about weather conditions. They will set sail and risk a capsized boat full of tourists than risk losing a day of profits. My experience with them was awful, people were screaming, crying, throwing up, and begging god to get us back safe. We experienced high winds, very choppy water, and rain. I woke up the next day with knots on my head from being tossed around and bruising all over my body. Please don’t support companies who put tourists life’s at risk. Everyone on my boat thought we were going to capsize and die:/
Response from the operator: Dear Xitllali We would like to extend our sincerest apologies that the weather changed unexpectedly during your tour. Please be assured that our primary concern is always the safety of our guests. Every day, before any boat departs, we conduct a thorough check of the weather forecast and sea tide conditions. Most importantly, we operate under the strict supervision of the official Marine Department. If there are any safety concerns, the Marine Department will not permit any tour boats to leave the harbor. On the morning of your tour, the conditions were perfectly safe and pleasant—the sky was clear and sunny, and the sea was calm. There were no warnings or signs of the storm that developed later. Unfortunately, the weather in Thailand can be very unpredictable and can change suddenly without warning. This was the case on your tour date, and all boat companies in the area faced the same sudden change in conditions. We deeply regret that this unforeseen weather event impacted your experience. This was certainly not the memorable day we had hoped to provide for you. Best regards, Parallel Tour

The truth behind this tour
When we arrived we were instantly charged a fee for “entrance” to the national park. I believe that should have been included but they charged us 400baht extra regardless. When you get to the national park, no one is checking anyway and when you pay the additional fee you aren’t given anything to indicate that you have. The tour then starts off with a 50 minute talk where one of the staff member tries to coerce you into buying a hat and beach shoes. He will then say you can’t wear your shoes on the sand and it’s best to have shoes because “sea urchins” will go into your feet. While this may only happen at one beach you are allowed to wear whatever shoes you want. No one stops you. Again this is their way of forcing you to buy their shoes. The breakfast is very very average if not disappointing. Getting on the speed boat, it is very inaccessible and people are prone to slipping. The boat is very crowded and over sold. The islands are beautiful and there’s a decent amount of time to explore. On our trip they said we can’t go into the Viking cave and you will glare at it for two mins from 100 metres away. Quite disappointing. A lot of the time they will say you will need to take a long boat into areas which is extra charge. When we arrived at the island for lunch I cannot express how disappointed and disgusted I was at the venue, food, hygiene and the way people were eating. The food was uncovered buffet and everything was chilli. It is all Indian food and limited Thai. There is no where to sit as there are more than four tour groups in the restaurant and also people from the outside. People were eating with their fingers which they considered normal. The stench was horrid and there was no ventilation. Truly a traumatising experience. It’s best if you do not eat at the place they include in your package. If you are going to choose this tour please have no expectations for the service. Otherwise the islands you visit are beautiful, no testament to the tour organisers.
Response from the operator: Dear Fatu Paul The National Park fee is a mandatory government charge that we mention in our booking information. We pay this fee for you in advance to save you from waiting in long lines at Maya Bay, allowing you more time to enjoy the island. If you did read all the details you will see that this fee is not included in this package. Your voucher clearly states about this in “Excluded” For the best experience, we suggest reading the tour details carefully before booking to ensure it's the perfect fit for you. We value your feedback and are dedicated to making ongoing improvements to ensure all our customers have the best possible experience. Best regards, Parallel Tour

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket cost?
+
Prices start at $1475 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 163 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket?
+
Around 57 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Phi Phi Islands , Khai Island & Maya Bay by Speedboat from Phuket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
