We have not seen a guide, arrival is via whats app . You will be taken upstairs by elevator to the restaurant where you will be helped by the staff. Do you get dinner a soup and then with rice or noodles the main course. Then you go to the intermediate one, a picture is taken with your own phone. They show the other restaurant and you can take the elevator down again. That's it.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback regarding the Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining tour. We would like to clarify that guiding service was indeed included and clearly communicated at the time of booking. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the guide was unable to arrive as planned. However, we promptly coordinated with you and ensured that a suitable alternative was provided to assist you during your visit. We always strive to offer the best experience and support for our guests, and we regret any inconvenience caused by this situation. Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our service. Kind regards, M. Zaid

A lovely afternoon

We really enjoyed our visit. It was a little bit strange, like you’re being met by an employee and given a visitor pass to access the building along with a member of staff. The restaurant situation is a little weird. Apparently it’s a membership based place and the rules about the dress code are strictly enforced, much like a golf club. It has an air of tired opulence, with a chaise longue in the ladies toilets. The guide eats his lunch at a table near to yours, out of sight but waiting for you to be ready for the next stage of the tour. There’s a massive amount of food, far too much to eat, and to be honest, it’s not that great. But it’s okay. It’s a set menu and personally I would have preferred something much lighter. The views are spectacular though and that’s what you’re here for. It should be noted that this tour does not take you to the top level of the building, which was disappointing. We splurged on this because the public tickets were sold out. I think one of the best things about it was finding out from the guide and the security chap we met towards the end of the tour, so much about KL. The political and social history is so easily forgotten over time. But the struggle that created this country and the city that exists today is fascinating. Malaysians are probably the nicest people I have met so far on my travels.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback. We are glad to hear you appreciated the stunning views and the insightful commentary provided by our guide. Regarding tower access, please note that our tour offers exclusive, private entry to the KLCC at level 42 via a dedicated path, ensuring a crowd-free experience combined with a special dining arrangement. Access to the upper skybridge is more restricted, but we are actively working with our partners to expand this in the future. We also appreciate your candid comments about the dining environment, which we will communicate to our partners to enhance the overall guest experience. Your kind words about Malaysian hospitality are greatly appreciated. We sincerely thank you for choosing our tour and look forward to the opportunity to welcome you again. Best regards, M. Zaid

Highly recommend

We arrived here today to see the famous Petronas towers and have a small birthday celebration while enjoying the sunset. Our guide Mr Saunder helped me to find and bring the birthday cake to the dining hall! That was so amazing! And I really enjoyed the view from the Towers. Special thanks for the great pictures on the Skybridge from the organizing team! 👏

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your wonderful review and for choosing to celebrate such a special occasion with us! We're so glad Mr. Saunder could help make your birthday memorable, and that you enjoyed the sunset views and Skybridge experience. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to the team—especially our photographer! Warm regards, M. Zaid

A different Petronas Towers Experience

Our visit to the Petronas Towers was very enjoyable! From the start, our host’s communication was exceptional, providing clear instructions and directions that made the trip seamless. The onsite host was equally welcoming and courteous, ensuring we had a great experience. Lunch was enjoyable, though it would have been nice to have a non-seafood option, as my partner only had the noodles. A bit more variety would have made the meal perfect. One important tip—sandals, including Birkenstocks, are not permitted, so be sure to wear proper shoes. Overall, we had a lovely time and would recommend the experience! Thank you

Response from the operator: Dear Ray Warburton, Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback with us! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Petronas Twin Towers and that our team’s communication and hospitality contributed to a seamless experience for you. We also appreciate your comments regarding the lunch. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will certainly take it into consideration as we continue to refine our offerings to ensure a more diverse range of options for all our guests. We’d also like to thank you for your helpful tip regarding footwear. We aim to ensure all guests are well-prepared for their visit, and your insight will certainly be useful for future visitors. We’re delighted that you had a lovely time, and we would be honored to welcome you again in the future. Best regards, M. Zaid

Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuala Lumpur.

How much does Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide cost?

+

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuala Lumpur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuala Lumpur is not rushed.

Is Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Kuala Lumpur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuala Lumpur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuala Lumpur and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Petronas Twin Towers Special Entrance & Dining With Expert Guide start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuala Lumpur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur?

+

On Outty we rank every Kuala Lumpur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sambal Streets Kuala Lumpur Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Genting Highland & Batu Cave Guided Day Tour (SIC/Shared Tour), Private Half-Day Batu Caves and Cutural Tour in Kuala Lumpur. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kuala Lumpur?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kuala Lumpur?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
