Petronas Tower tour and dinner . September 2025
My husband and I were met at the Petronas towers by Mr. Saunders and his son . Both men were very hospitable friendly courteous to us we were the only patrons that evening . We were treated to dinner which was not the best but the staff were also courteous and friendly and made us both feel at home. Mr. Saunders told us all about the history of the Petronas towers . He took us on a tour of the towers , we went to the bridge which joined both towers . His assistant took pictures of us on the bridge . The whole experience was awesome . Outside there was a light show and also loads of people taking pictures of the towers lots of music and dancing it was really a fun evening for my husband and I .
Response from the operator: Dear Lorna, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you and your husband enjoyed your evening at the Petronas Towers, and that Mr. Saunders and his team made you feel so welcome. We’re glad you had the chance to visit the Skybridge and learn about the history of the towers — and that the photos captured some special memories. While we’re sorry the dinner didn’t meet your full expectations, it’s wonderful to know that the staff’s hospitality helped make your experience enjoyable. It sounds like you had a truly memorable evening with the light show and lively atmosphere outside the towers, and we’re thrilled that you both had so much fun. Thank you again for your kind words and for choosing us. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable experience in the future! Warm regards, M. Zaid

View of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline FROM Towers
As a Malaysian who’d lived and worked in Kuala Lumpur for a long time, making the trip up to the 41st floor of the Petronas Twin Towers, was something that was not on my list of to-do’s. But as a visiting Malaysian living abroad now, I thought on my recent visit home, “Why not?” And I was truly excited to experience the Towers up close. The booking process as well as the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Just remember to tell the guards at Tower B that you’re going to the Malaysian Petroleum Club so that they will point you to the correct counter, where you’ll be expected to fill in an online form with your personal details including your ID/ passport number. The restaurant and food were so-so. As a local, I can say this with some authority as I know tastier versions of the local fare that I’d ordered. (Also, a heads up to the Malaysian Petroleum Club: please advise the service staff that not all visitors are non-Malaysians. Some of us do understand what they’re saying and how they’re addressing guests). Finally the view: you do get a majestic view of the Kuala Lumpur skyscrapers, which is pretty impressive in itself but remember you are looking at them FROM the Twin Towers. The bridge’s roof is not fully glass that could give you and “up close and personal view of the Towers themselves. There is a circular skylight, through which you can see the towers’ spires and you could take some pretty arty shots of those. But you AND the Towers? For that, you’re better off outside and at the front of the structures - where you’ll find most people taking pics. All in all, it was an experience - and by the way, this is not a guided experience.
Response from the operator: Dear Brenda Haas, Thank you for sharing your detailed review and feedback on the Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View & Dining Experience Tour. We're glad to hear that you found the booking process and instructions clear and that you had the chance to enjoy the breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline from the Towers — truly a unique perspective, especially for someone returning home. We do want to clarify that the experience is typically guided. However, during your visit, the assigned guide had an unexpected personal emergency. We sincerely apologize for this and appreciate your understanding. Our team did their best to ensure everything continued smoothly in the guide’s absence. Your feedback regarding the restaurant and staff language awareness has also been noted and will be shared with the relevant parties to help improve the overall guest experience. Thank you once again for choosing to revisit and explore this iconic landmark with us. Warm regards, M. Zaid

The tour guide was extremely rude from the beginning to me and my disabled mother, food was horrible, save your money.
This was the worse tour I have ever been on in my life. Over expensive, rude, disrespectful, disgusting food, go anywhere else:)

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuala Lumpur.
How much does Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuala Lumpur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuala Lumpur is not rushed.
Is Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Kuala Lumpur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuala Lumpur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuala Lumpur and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Petronas Twin Tower Skybridge View and Dining Experience Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuala Lumpur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuala Lumpur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sambal Streets Kuala Lumpur Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Genting Highland & Batu Cave Guided Day Tour (SIC/Shared Tour), Private Half-Day Batu Caves and Cutural Tour in Kuala Lumpur. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuala Lumpur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuala Lumpur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
